"Did she go sowhere else?" the housekeeper asked eagerly, worrying that she might fall into trouble if the girl ran away.

"No, she only went to a salon to get a spa and clean up. Then she went to a cafe and ordered a lot of desserts. She wolfed them like she was hungry for ages. God! She created so much ss. After that, she bought two new dresses and left the mall. I am following her in the car. Since she did not have a phone, she could not contact anyone.

And the driver is our trusted man. You do not need to worry madam. She will be ho in half an hour." Only then did the housekeeper smile and sit on her chair with a magazine in her hands.

It was as the bodyguard had said, the girl returned in half an hour with a small shopping bag.

"What did you buy?" the housekeeper asked in a warm tone. "Did you have fun?"

"I only brought two dresses and had so coffee and cake. I did not take much ti. Did i?" The housekeeper rembered the call she had received from Chris. Her eyes flickered but she only smiled, shaking her head.

"Not at all, I am glad that you enjoyed it." she waved her hands and the girl walked closer and sat on the sofa.

The housekeeper stood up and put the leash back at its place.

"Boss had called. Since I have not taken permission in advance, I have to lie that you are still sleeping. It is for your own good. So do not cross my reply. Did you understand?" Nate felt the cold leather on her skin again and nodded at once.

Her eyes dim and her face full of submission. Her soul has long been broken. Since she had nowhere else to go, it was hard for her to betray them.

Boss had investigated her enough. Feeling relieved, the housekeeper let her go.

"Alright, I have already cooked dinner for both of you. I have sowhere to go so I would be leaving early. You can take care of the house. Right?" Nat nodded once again. From the start, she did not whisper another word until asked.

The housekeeper patted her head and left. The mont Nat was alone in her room. Her eyes turned cold. She stared at her surroundings with a smirk on her face and then she leaned on the sofa and closed her eyes.

"It had been days. Just how busy you are that you have no ti?" Emma shifted in her seat aggrieved, "I thought you were in a hurry to destroy that man." she could not help but feel like a fool with her broken ribs.

She had placed her life on the line and now they were just sitting there idly.

"You still need rest." Nora watched her with an impassive gaze. She leaned on the seat and continued reading the file making Emma frown.

"Hey! I can rest while you can use the proofs I have collected. My idiot brother decided to visit yesterday too. He told that he is going abroad to complete a task for a week! Do you know why he had co personally to inform about that and why they have not found yet no matter how desperately they are looking for ?" she scowled and then shook her head.

"My brother still has so conscience left. It is better that we take its benefit when it lasts. Who knew how ruthless he would be against her when he would return. The accounting proofs would be enough to destroy his company." Nora took a deep breath and pushed the files aside.

She stared at Emma as if deep in thought.

"Are you having doubts now?" Emma raised her brow, frowning. Nora smiled wryly and shook her head.

She picked up the glass of water and passed it to Emma.

"Alright, give the details and I will handle it. You will not leave the hospital until you are better." Emma frownd but she knew there was no matter of discussion.

She grumbled but wrote down the detailed address of the place where she had hid accounting records.

"You know what a pity!" Emma sighed as she passed the records to Nora.

Nora raised a brow looking amused. "A pity that you could not participate in it?" Emma shook her head grumbling again.

"I am not that petty! I just think it is a waste that the man is not getting severe punishnt. He had buried his two wives alive or half dead, yet no one knew the sins he had committed. He should go to jail not serve financial loss." Emma sighed looking hurt. "If only my brother decided to choose a better side. But he is so stubborn." her anger flared again. Emma failed to notice how Nora’s eyes flickered with a cold ray of light and filled with hatred slowly.

"Soone would co to punish him. You do not need to worry. Then I will see you tomorrow." she patted Emma’s shoulders and left with the address.

Instead of going out, she took the elevator and went to their house.

Alric was sitting on the sofa and reading sothing when she entered. She smiled and ran to hug him. Alric, surprised for a second, hugged her back and smiled. It was good to enjoy warmth together. He leaned on her shoulders until she let him go.

"Emma wants to take action. It is hard to keep her still." she sighed. Alric smiled with an indulgent smile.

"Well, do what you want to do. I will handle the rest. I have brought a special parcel for you too." Nora paused. Her eyes widened when he picked up the parcel of a special cafe from the mall.

"Is it...?" she looked at him with disbelief but Alric just smiled.

"Have I ever disappointed you? But if you still do not believe then go ahead and check."
