Nora did not wait for her uncle to answer. Looking at the disbelief and shock in his eyes, she only smiled and shook her head.
"Another ti then." her voice had a hint of pity in it that made Sophia’s blood boil. She wanted to teach the girl a lesson. But she was aware of the eyes that were seeing her. So when Nora pulled her hands away, Sohpia had to let go of her.
Nora nodded at the peon and then left the administration building with hurried steps. She went straight to her class.
The teacher was explaining about trigonotry. A tree and a man were made on the board and they had to calculate the degree of angle.
Nora opened her eyes and started writing. Before the teacher would complete the diagram she had already solved the question and was looking at Alex now. He was sitting on the left corner of the room just a seat away from her. She could hold his hand if she wanted to without being noticed by anyone. His eyes were closed and he was leaning on the wall for support.
Only six hours were left to convince him. She looked at the teacher then who had written the nurical completely on the board and was planning to ask a question. Nora intentionally threw a book on the ground to create the noise. Frowning, the teacher turned to look at them. She found Nora writing diligently while Alex slept like a log and her eyes narrowed.
"Alex! You are sleeping again." The loud voice of the teacher echoed in the room, making everyone turn their head in the direction of Alex. Though his eyes were closed, he was not in deep sleep. His eyes opened at once. They were sharp as throwing daggers.
He looked around and found the book on the ground. He even noticed the note sticking to it. Leisurely, he bent down to pick it up. It was a page having a trigonotry nurical solved in it.
"Alex, stand up this instant." he stood up frowning. "Tell the solution of this nurical instant or you are going to get detention." Alex swept his gaze on the whiteboard and his eyes narrowed. His grip on the page tightened.
"Sure, the angle will be 30 degrees." He spoke in a bored tone and then walked in front of the class and submitted the paper to the teacher. The teacher’s eyes flickered and she swallowed the scolding.
"Yes, as Alex had told.." she returned to her lecture in a stern tone.
When Alex walked back to his seat, he eyed Nora.
When he had taken out the note from the book, he had seen another note there.
"I need money!" That was the weirdest note he could ever receive.
He walked back to his seat and wrote behind the note.
"And I should care about it. Because?" He looked at it and then decided against passing it. but surprisingly, Nora smiled and passed another note to him which contained the answer to his question.
"Because I know who you are. And you would do anything to hide your identity." his eyes narrowed at her. The mont the bell rang, he held her by her collar and dragged her out of the class as if she weighed nothing.
But the scene got the attention of everyone. They all turned to look at her, especially Penny. Her eyes narrowed and her face red with rage.
Nora smiled and let her drag him with a desired look on her face. He dragged her near the end of the corridor where the labs were closed at that mont and pushed her on the wall.
His hands were near her neck on the wall so that she could not escape.
"Are you blackmailing , little girl?" he asked in a voice that scared even adults.
"I was admitted to the AVI hospital for the past two days for my treatnt. I have t a few nurses and even your brother there. That is when I noticed your na and surna matched the owner of the hospital. But everyone thinks that you are from a no na family. What would happen if they all know that you have a brother too?" she looked straight into his eyes with a sweet smile on her face.
"And I know that you are an orphan. What if strange rumors start circulating about it too?" he titled his head to look into her eyes. They were so clear and calm that it was infuriating. How he wanted to punch her to get rid of that smile but at the sa ti, he did not want to ruin her fair face.
She was beautiful. Wait! That was not what he should be thinking about?
But she indeed looked different today and he could not understand what had changed?
"Have you changed your hairstyle or your dressing sense? But if you think you can co and blackmail after that then you are wrong." he muttered when she did not reply.
"Hahahah! I do not know what is the connection between my looks and blackmailing you. But I am glad that you like ." she leaned closer. If one would see from a distance, they would think that they were kissing each other. His eyes widened and his pulse raced.
Though he had been a spoilt person, he had never kissed a girl and she was indeed good looking. He could enjoy the kiss and then tell her that he did not know her.
But Nora did not kill him, she leaned on him until her lips reached his ears.
"Alex, you can spread as many rumors about because I am going to leave my family anyways. I am going to take my revenge on them. And for that I need money. I am going to keep my mouth shut and even help you with classes as long as you pay enough. What do you say?"
