"Your image?" Keiera was dumbfounded by the question. She and Nora could not even be called friends. They barely know each other. She only had a strong impression of Nora because the owner of this hospital was interested in her.

Mr Spencer had personally monitored her room and checked her progress.

Nora could see the confusion on her face, but she did not mind. She did not know Keiera. But she knew Chloe and her future with Max. it was going to destroy him.

"Nora, there is so misunderstanding." Keirra took her hand back. "Max would decide who he likes. I only have admiration for him. I am not deeply in love to the limit that I would fight for his affection. I am a strong and independent woman. And as you said, he likes naive and innocent types."

"...." Nora pressed her lips.

"And you think that girl is that type? Even if you do not have strong love for Doc, your respect should be enough reason to find the truth of that girl and warn your colleague." as it was Keira’s mistake. Nora looked disappointed and sighed.

Her phone rang in her pocket. Only then did she notice it was past dinner ti. Her uncle was calling her.

"Nora! Where are you?" The voice had a hint of anger and worry. Nora looked at Keira apologetically and left the room.

It took her only a few seconds to find the detective. Her lips curled into a smile.

"I am on the way ho. Why? what happened?" hearing her innocent voice, her uncle on the other side went silent.

She saw how the man’s phone rang and he whispered sothing.

"Nora, do not lie. I can hear the noises behind you. Tell where you are!" Nora bit her lips to make sure she did not laugh.

Heard noises! Huh!

"Uncle, you do not believe . What kind of voices do you hear then?" She walked toward the lift and closed the door so that the detective could not follow her.

"It is not important. It is too late and your aunt is worried. You must return ho." Nora could hear the frustration and suppressed rage in the voice of her uncle. She stopped in the parking lot.

Why did her uncle want her ho at once? He did not want her to et soone here. Or.. he wanted her to et soone there!

"I might be late. Do you need for sothing?" She tested the waters as she opened the door of her car.

"Nora, it is too late. If there is so issue, tell where you are, I will co to get you." Nora could hear voices from behind. The clinking of glasses.

But her aunt did not like to drink on weekdays. And her uncle would never drink with Nora. There was a man in the house.

"Alright, then I will return ho now." David did not notice the change in her voice. After getting the reply he wanted, he cut the call giving her so instructions.

Then he called the detective and confird that Nora did not et Alric Spencer. She just waited in the common waiting room. The manager called her for creating a ruckus and then she left embarrassed.

David sighed as he picked up his glass and drank all the beer in one sip.

"I expected way too much." David shook his head. How could a billionaire like Alric spencer who lived a mysterious life could be interested in a plain girl like his niece.

He must have wanted sothing else.

"You seem to like that drink a lot!" David paused and then laughed.

"Ah, it is nothing like that, Mr Benard. It is rare for my wife and my daughter to leave alone. But thanks to the shoot of your company’s new product, I got this chance. I do not want to waste it with a posh drink like wine." he drank the glass in one gulp and refilled his glass. "And it is rare for you to accept my offer."

Benard raised a brow as he played with the glass in his hands but did not take a sip from it. "My divorce was finalized three months ago. Since then I have visited you thrice, Stone. You are forgetting it."

David paused and stared at the cold smile on the face of his partner. As if he was reminding him that it was ti to complete your promise.

"My niece will be here any mont. That night, an accident had happened but tonight, you can have a good chat with her." David said it aningfully. But Benard just passed him a lazy glance. He was looking at the distance.

"Your niece is too famous. Your daughter is much more docile. I have t her sotis." David felt a vein burst in his body. His heart reached his throat.

"Yes, my niece had won a competition but it is only for geeks who would rember it for a long ti. But my daughter would be famous as a celebrity after working as a model. I have heard she had already received many invitations after her photographs had been released in Craze magazine." with a flattering smile, David stood up and took out a vintage bottle from his bar.

"Here, I know that you do not enjoy that drink. You should go for your first choice, Mr Benard. There is nothing in this world that could force you to adjust." he smiled and poured a drink for Chris.

Chris started at the drink with his eyes glowing. "My first choice." he twirled the liquid and then drank the glass in a single gulp. David filled it again with a smile on his face.

"Apart from that, my niece is.." David paused and opened the door of the bar. Nora was on the stairs, she paused when she saw two figures standing on the railing and looking at her in the dark.

"Uncle, I am ho."
