"You are finally back!" Amyra was sitting inside his room leisurely as if the room belonged to her. Alric did not react. He had already guessed her presence. That was the only reason he went to the eting room first.
He checked the ti in his watch. Half an hour had passed since the call ended. If he knew his manager well, his eyes flashed a dark ray of light.
"Alric, what happened last night was a mistake." Amyra stood up and walked to him. She only hesitated for a second before holding his arm with both hands and leaning on his shoulders, "I have lost my mind because of jealousy. I should not have been this extre when I knew you were already mine." she pouted and sounded aggrieved.
"But can you really bla ? Have you seen your recent behavior with Nora? What do you expect when I see you flirting with other girls and ignoring !" she blad him looking hurt. Her eyes blinked and a tear fell on her face.
She looked heartbroken and upset.
"You know I have loved you from the start. I have worked hard to earn the approval of your parents. Not only that, I have worked hard so that I could stand with you. You run hospitals and I am a researcher of dicines and treatnt. My father holds the biggest market share of dicines. Our marriage will benefit our familles, your business and you." Alric wanted to laugh.
How Amyra had started with an apology but softly shifted the bla to him to make him feel guilty and soften his attitude too. Then she added the benefits she could provide. If it had been a business deal, even he would have agreed to her.
"This is my life and I am not for sale." He pushed her hands away and then took out his handkerchief. It was full of sweat yet he wiped his hand where she was holding him with a look of disgust on his face.
Amyra’s expression changed. Her eyes narrowed at his actions.
"You are insulting now!" she warned in a cold voice.
"You mixed drugs in the air in my room and then took off your clothes to seduce yet I have rejected you. Even then you are standing here. Do you have any respect left to be insulted further?" her chest hurt. His each word was like a needle pierced straight into her ego.
Had she ever been humiliated like this! This man deserves to die to hurt her. But she had endured, he would die but now was not the ti.
"Alric! It is all because I love you. I am ready to go through any humiliation. I am ready to do anything as long as I can have you. Tell , what will I do if you accept ?" her voice was pleading. It was full of pain and vulnerability. If a woman would have begged any other man, they would have felt bad for her and have accepted her.

Amyra looked at the door and then at him. Sothing shifted inside her.
"Yes, you have refused my love in the past. But the protest had always been feeble, on the verge of breaking apart. You have still gone on dates with . Shared als and we have even seen movies together. But after eting Nora, you have ignored completely as if you do not want to be seen with !

There was a warm feeling in his heart when he had left Nora’s room. She had suffered the whole night to take care of him. But why did he choose her room in the first place?
He was debating with his thoughts. It must be because she was trustable and dependable but now.. Was Amyra right? Could it be that he has feelings for Nora?
But before he could touch those hidden thoughts of his mind, Arica’s next words announced him as the sinner.
"You can twist anything just for your welfare, Amyra. I have to give you that. But Nora had a lover already, Victor Jhonson. She had been dating him and they were planning marriage in the long run. Now, if you have finished spouting nonsense! Leave! Leave my room this once or I will call security and throw you out." he warned. Yet, he did not move.
He was only looking at her phone.
"Alric! If not for her then why? Why have you grown so distant to ." she bit her lips and cried again but before she could give up on her pride and touch him again, her phone rang.
She frowned when she noticed his expressions improving. His eyes looked elated. An ominous feeling filled her heart when she noticed it was her father on the call.
"Alric.." he looked away. Amyra ran out of the room before picking up the call.
"Hel.."
"What the hell did you do Amyra this ti? I have never suffered such a big loss in my life."
