"Knock! Knock!" Nora frowned when the door did not stop knocking. She had already covered her head with her pillow. She did not want to deal with other students. Neither she wanted to go out with them. After dealing with those old researchers, she was exhausted. And who knows what trick Amyra was playing now.
Even if they would break the door, she was going to play dead. But..
"Fine! I am coming." gritting her teeth she stood up and opened the door only to see Alric standing there.
"Alric!" she frowned. There was sothing wrong with him. He staggered into her room and closed the door at once. Her eyes narrowed. She wrapped his one arm around her shoulders and helped him inside the room.
"Are you alright?" His face was red and his eyes looked bloodshot. He looked like he was suffering with pain.
"Do not open the door." he heaved, his breathing was rugged. "No matter what, Nora. leave the room and do not return." he pushed her away slightly when he reached her bed.
"You want to leave?" Nora frowned. She looked at him again. His shirt was buttoned wrong, his pants were a ss and his face was covered with cold sweat. "Are you sick?" She walked closer and touched his forehead with a frown but he held her wrist tightly.
Nora did not struggle, she only stared at him when his grip tightened. He looked in pain and his eyes were dizzy.
"Call a doctor, if you can. But do not co closer to ." he finally let her go. Nora rubbed her wrist. She took out her phone, but she did not know anyone here. And if he was hiding here, soone must be following him. She could not ask for help from anyone.
"Do you know soone who will help us?" Alric shook his head. He pointed at the glass of water. Nora nodded and brought the glass, but instead of drinking it, he threw the water on his face.
"More.." She noticed he had scratched a large part of his skin. Blood had started to pour out of those small wounds.
’Are you drugged? Did soone poison you? Oh god! It could be serious." Alric closed his eyes. He shook his head a few tis.
"More! I must stay conscious." Nora nodded and brought out more water for him.
"Should I ask for help from director Reid?" she confird again when his breathing beca shallower. He was holding the sheets so tight that his knuckles had turned white.
"Alric.." hesitantly, she walked closer. Alric was suffering. She had no idea her soft figure, her enticing sll was another tornt for him. What was he even doing here? When he had left his ho, he needed help. But he instinctively ca to his room.
With him, he had put her in danger too. Her sweet fragrance was enticing him, tornting him. But he did not want to show her his beastily side.
"Alric." she touched him again and this ti he held her hand with force and pulled her on the bed. In a second, she was on the bed, straddling him.
Their eyes t and her eyes widened when she felt his bulge growing under her touch.
"Alric!" a strong kiss was given as response! A kiss that took her breath away. Only when Nora pushed him away did he co back to his senses.
"Amyra had drugged . I could not lose my composure. And if soone cos to know that I was drugged in your room. I am sorry," he closed his eyes, " I have implicated you." he had! But looking at his suffering face, for the first ti, he looked human.
Her eyes softened.
"It is alright. You did not do it intentionally." Was he imagining it? For the first ti he felt emotions in her voice. He had done it intentionally. Out of everyone, he decided to enter her room. Did he know how her career would be ruined if she would be found with him.
"It is alright, do not think too much." as if she could read the guilt on his face, she touched and caressed it slowly. But the touch was like a poison to him. Not to forget that she was straddling him.
Her soft body was.... Hard to bear.
"Nora. you must leave the room. Make an excuse and share the room with other students. I would leave before morning. No one would know. Even if they would, they could not bla you." he begged in a hoarse voice.
That was the best choice. Any girl would have easily accepted it. But Nora refused to bow down. She stood up and walked to the small closet. She took out her scarves and tied his hand from the bed.
Alric was shocked. His brow rose, and despite the pain, he chuckled.
"Do you have kinks Nora?" no matter how thick her skin was.. The words made her blush.
A cold and devilious man like Alric was tied to her bed looking sexy.
"It will stop you from scratching your skin." she blurted and then took out a dicine from her box.
"Here, take it?" Before he could refuse, she held his jaw and forced him to ingest the dicine and then she placed the glass of water near his mouth.
He stared at her face that she felt the pressure building in.
"It is.." he opened his mouth and drank a mouthful of water. She was stunned to see the trust in him.
"I did not have the dicines for drugs or aphrodisiacs." she cleared her throat when he closed his eyes and tried to take deep breaths.
"I know. I would be surprised if you have one!" Then why did you accept it so easily?
She shook that thought away.
"Penny had mixed laxatives in my drink a few days ago. I have just purchased a stronger laxative for her. I gave it to you." ALric paused, he opened his eyes and stared at her again. She lowered her head and coughed.
"No matter what drugs you have taken, it would be hard to find the redy without knowing. This was the best I could do for you."
