"Slam" Alex kicked the table hard. The vase fell over the ground and smashed. Its water spilled and touched his feet making his fury ignited.
"Nora is using you from the start. She wanted a strong backer to stand against us, her family.
And you, like a fool, stood for her! How many tis have you saved her from us? You even used your na to protect her when my father had tossed her out of the school. She must be mocking you for your foolishness when she spends ti with victor." Alex closed his eyes and covered his ears while gritting his teeth.
After the betrayal of his family, he had stopped trusting people. Most of the boys approach him only because they were sent by Alric to keep a watch over him as if he was so kind of beast that needed to be chained.
He had stopped making friends. He had stopped so many things. How long had it been since he had felt he could show his real self to soone. Though she was not bought by Alric, she was using him too.
Alex laughed mockingly. "I was a fool in your eyes all this ti and here I was, ready to change myself completely for you." his hands curled into a fist and he punched the wall in front of him.
The wall did not have any damage but his fingers burnt red. He had used so much power. But he did not feel that pain. He was numb. He could only see the pictures where Nora was sitting on Victor’s lap and kissing her ferociously.
He did not even know if her betrayal hurt him more or those pictures.
But those pictures are with Penny. She would misuse him. And he had not warned Nora. he took a step toward the door when he realized what he was doing and cursed.
"Fuck! I am not her babysitter. Her chocolate boy could take care of both of them. And.. she must have realized Penny knew by my actions. She would find a way." Though he said that, uneasiness burnt his chest.
He took a step toward the door only to close the door tightly. He could not return to her after what happened. He rubbed his forehead and took deep breaths to calm himself.
"It had nothing to do with anymore." he repeated like a chant when his phone rang.
"Alex!" a manly voice ca from the other side, "I have so new and better goods. Do you want to try them?"
Alex frowned.
"Gabe, I am not in the mood. So other day!" He was about to cut the call when the man on the other side laughed.
"Yes, I saw what happened in the hallways. I was there. Man! I can not believe you are fooled by that slut. Have I not warned you already that she is using you?" Alex felt the fury ignited again. He wanted to smash sothing.
"Gabe! Call her that again and you will regret it." the other side went silent as if they realized the shift in mood.
"Alex! She had fooled you and now you are rotting in your room, lanting. Yet, you are protecting her? Man, I never knew you were so kind or you were just ssed up by her. Whatever it is, you need a release. And I can help you with that.
My new goods will make you forget the world including her in it. Co, Alex, I am trying to help you as a friend because I care for you." he repeated with a soft tone and a deep sigh.
Alex closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Gabe was right. He needed a release and his goods could help.
"Alright, I am coming to the race arena." he cut the call without waiting for a reply.
Gabe stared at the phone and laughed. A young woman was sitting on the other side playing with her nail polish.
"Did he accept?" she asked with a raised brow while she blew on her perfectly painted nails with a calm expression as if the matter had nothing to do with her.
"Yes!" Gabe grinned with excitent. "And I am sure this ti he will throw all the cautions to the wind. The boy had his heart broken for the first ti. He would not even bring those bunch of fools following him. This ti, we have caught him on the net." the woman’s eyes flickered with a vicious glint before she looked at her nails again and smiled slightly.
"Give him your best hospitality. Isn’t he your old custor? Make sure that he forgets the pain of his heart attack." Gabe laughed. He opened the drawers of his table and took out a small white bag.
"This, my lady. Is the best product in the market. Once tasted, you could never forget it and never get rid of it. He would be the biggest addict I have ever made. After all, I am giving him my treasure for free. But I hope." the woman snorted.
"So much drama!" She took out five stacks of notes and threw them on the table. The man’s eyes brightened. He placed the packet back in the drawer and started counting the notes. He brought a stack closer to his nose and sniffed it like a drug addict.
The woman scowled but did not speak a word.
"I will count it in advance. Once Alex continues to return, you have to pay twice." His face is all serious now.
The woman bit her lips. Unsure for a second. The man noticed it and narrowed his eyes.
"I will pay you thrice, Gabe. but only if you ruin him completely. He must not return to his house ever." Gabe returned a mock salute in reply. The woman inhaled a deep breath and left the room.
"Inform on the phone. You know what you need to do." She covered her face with a mask and wore glasses before leaving the private room of the hotel.
"Alric! Did you not say, you are waiting for your brother. Now, you can wait all your life!"
