Can you or your team not do anything about her?" she fluttered her eyes sweetly. But he hesitated.
Nora had protection of Alex. Though he had not specified it, he had seen Nora following Alex everywhere.
"Ha! You are just a coward." She pushed him away and walked toward the door. Jamie ran behind her hastily and held his hand.

Penny’s face darkened the mont she ca out. Her hand was not sore but she felt disgusted. She entered the girls locker room and took a bath there. She changed her clothes and only then did she return to the dorms.
Kate stared at her with a complex look in her eyes. She looked hesitant.
Penny noticed it and grimaced.
"Kate, are you doubting like others too?" Her voice was choking with tears. It made Kate embarrassed instantly. She did not know how to respond.
"Yes, I have taken help from my friend who;le preparing the notes. There were so many and exams were near. If I had made them myself, I would have only finished the exams. Then I could not have shared them with everyone." she bit her lips and silent tears covered her face.
Kate sighed! She closed her and took a deep breath.
"Penny, it is not about notes, really. Everyone can make a few for themselves. And you are kind to think about them. But why did you lie?"
Penny’s eyes narrowed. Kate had never questioned her before. She did not like that rebel. She had already lowered herself and explained. What else did this girl want?
"I did not know it was such a big matter. Since Ethan is not a student. Who would believe that he could make good notes. I only said I have made them so that I do not suffer their skepticism. He is a brilliant person. But no one would believe it and they would take a loss. I only wanted to help them. But now, they looked at as if I was a criminal. Even you.. I thought that we were friends. Yet, you look at like I am a criminal. Am I that bad in your eyes?" Penny ran away to the washroom and closed the doors.
Kate ran behind her only to hear the loud noise of the shower.
"Foolish girl! Your hair was already wet when you returned. Yet you are taking a shower again, just to hide your tears. I am sorry Penny. I didn’t an to hurt your feelings. I was just.. I am sorry!" Kate leaned on the door with a look of regret.
"It is not your fault, Kate." Penny leaned on the other side with a vicious smirk on her face while her voice was still choking with tears, "it is all my fault."
