"That is right! See, you are able to solve such a hard nurical problem. That shows you are working hard. And the assignnt you have submitted was perfect too. Our class has so many expectations from you. Good job!" Penny smiled. Her writing was like pearls had been spread on the board. The nurical was solved perfectly and the students were able to understand it easily.
Before, even when Nora had recited the procedure for them, they could not understand it. So they all nodded when Penny was praised by the teacher. The girl bowed her head shyly and blushed.
"Thank you sir. It is all thanks to your guidance." the man nodded. That was how students should be. Sharing the credit of their hard work with his guidance. Or else how could they have learnt so much.
"At least a few believe that teachers had a role in their success. Otherwise a few students think that only study material is enough to teach them." he glared at Nora for a few minutes for the whole class to understand his intentions before moving to the next nurical.
Nora did not say a word. With a sweat covered face, she concentrated on her notebook. Her pencil paused in her hands as she exhausted.
"She was just showing off before. Look, now she is having trouble understanding such a simple question." Many laughed at her expense and Emma shook her head. If only they knew that Nora was not studying at all.
The day went just like that. Most of the teachers ca with a set of revision questions or test papers. They all were preparing the students for the terminal exam. But this ti the questions were harder than every year. They wanted to prepare selected students for inter school competition too.
Every ti Nora and Penny were asked to solve most of the questions since they were the only selected students from their class. This made the other students breathe in relief.
"It was all for the show!" Victor shook his head. "The teachers were trying to show how Penny was much better than you." a tinge of rage in his voice but Nora ignored it.
She took out the notebook she had worked hard on.
"I have received a call from your father’s company that they want details of the second and third level again. And they want more ideas attached to it. So, I have made a few notes." Victor was surprised. He was not told that they have already started working on more levels. He had thought his father was only launching the ga for a test run first.
It needs a lot of effort and resources to make more levels. Most of the ti they launch the ga to a few experts first and know their reactions before working on the ga again. Who would have thought.
His eyes seed to glitter as she flipped the pages one by one. Her drawing was so vivid and she had written, power system, rules and cheat codes too.
"It feels like you have already played this ga so many tis to make such perfect notes." she had! She had played the ga so many tis with her daughter. Her daughter liked this ga way too much. Believing that a villain would co to save them.
"Why not a hero? Because the heroes are too uptight! Villains are not binded by morals."He had laughed at those words while hugging her daughter but now.
"I have imagined it in my mind." if i had been a hero! Would I have dared to use your own ga and see this marvel on your face shalessly? Victor nodded. Admiration filling his eyes.
"Nora! If you design a few gas like this. Then with the royalty you will get, you could enjoy your whole life without worrying about money and support from your uncle." His voice had a hint of relief and happiness that she ignored. But it was hard to look away from his eyes.
She was much more experienced and mature and she knew well what this look ant. But she chose to be ignorant.
"If you are not busy with preparation? How about you co with to the company?" Nora blinked with surprise when he cleared his throat.
"I an they have not approached but you. That only ans they want to know more about the designer of the ga. It would be a good idea that you go and et them. This way they can clear their doubts too and you can see how the gas are coded and developed." Nora nodded. This could be a good back up plan. And it would be better if she earned a lot from it. The date was approaching and she did not have funds yet.
"Alright! Then we will go tomorrow." Victor bead and took a step forward but she bent at that mont to take out sothing from her bag. Victor flushed. He was going to hug her in the canteen! He must have lost his mind.
"Alright then, I will wait for you tomorrow in the parking lot." he stood up, flustered , tightly holding the notebook and leaving.
Nora took out her mobile and nodded at him. She had collected so cash with so much hard work but all had been wasted on Damon. That brat had taken her money and refused to help her!
"Ha! I can only earn more." she passed the information she had collected from Alric to Kevin from Mojo Ltd. she noticed a ssage from Alex there.
"I am going for a race. You do not need to co if you are busy with your exam preparation." Nora held the phone tightly as if she had a choice. She had to follow this guy even if he was going to hell.
"No, I feel stifled after studying for a long ti. Wait for in the parking lot. I will co with you." she typed hastily as she held the bag and ran toward the parking lot.
Emma shook her head. She was sitting behind Nora. But Nora did not pay attention at all. She dialed a number too.
"This is your chance to et her. I hope you do not lose it."
