Noticing his reaction, Chu Xiang held back her smile. “Excuse , President Xiao. It seems that my dad wants to spend more ti together as a family. As such, he would like us to dine together as a family for dinner every night.”

Xiao Han returned to his original seat with the tea cup, brewing more tea. “It’s fine. Family is important… By the way, does Miss Chu have so sort of curfew? If so, then you probably won’t be able to attend many events at night.”

Looking him in the eyes, she forced out a smile and said. “While I may not have a curfew, I don’t particularly enjoy attending those types of dinner parties at night. Since I’ve been rather busy nowadays, I don’t see a need to attend any non-mandatory events.”

“Taking a break once in a while isn’t a bad idea. By striking a balance between work and rest, you’ll be able to increase the efficiency of your work.”

Although Xiao Han was hinting at her to spend more ti with him, Chu Xiang completely missed the point. “I don’t see a need for leisure ti. Working is more than enough for . Since I’ve already wasted so much ti playing around in the past, I want to make up for it and learn as many things as possible.”

Xiao Han raised his eyebrows slightly. “You want to learn more about business? Both Director Chu and Director Fang are rather outdated in their ways of business. On the other hand, my ideas and ways of thinking may be more suitable for the next generation… more suitable for you. Whenever Miss Chu finds the ti, I would be more than willing to tell you about my experience in business.”

“Alright, I will definitely take on your kind offer whenever I find the ti to.” Chu Xiang chuckled. “When the ti cos, President Xiao better not complain about being annoying.”

The two of them continued chatting from across the table in the relaxed ambience of the teahouse. Just as they were comfortably getting along, their subordinates ssaged them, saying that their eting had ended.

“I’ll send you ho,” Xiao Han said regretfully.

“Alright, thank you for your trouble, President Xiao,” Chu Xiang replied as she got into Xiao Han’s car. Inside, she called her assistant to let them bring her own car back.

On their way, Chu Xiang asked Xiao Han to tell her any interesting stories about his days in university. Although Xiao Han did not usually like to talk much, he ended up telling her about his “good old days” back in university just like how grandparents told stories to their grandchildren. Listening attentively, Chu Xiang burst out laughing many tis, and in the blink of an eye, the car was already parked in front of her family villa.

Looking towards the house, Xiao Han subconsciously tapped his fingers on the steering wheel. “Miss Chu, if you have any questions about work, I’ll be more than happy to answer your questions. Just video call whenever you want.”

“Has President Xiao ever dated anyone before?” Chu Xiang asked as she unbuckled her seatbelt.

Pursing his lips for a mont, he turned to look out the window. “No,” he replied firmly.

Grabbing hold of his tie, Chu Xiang brazenly pulled him by his tie towards her to et his gaze. “President Xiao, have you fallen in love with ?”

“I’ll have to see for myself whether that’s the case.” Reaching his arms out, Xiao Han wrapped them around her waist and slowly leaned closer.

“Chu Xiang!”

At that exact mont, an angry voice shot through the air and disrupted the mood. As Xiao Han’s expression darkened instantly, he glared daggers towards the people outside the car. Upon eting his deadly gaze, the person shrunk like a mouse scared out of its wits.

Chu Xiang chuckled and fell onto Xian Han’s chest upon seeing his reaction. Thinking about how they would always be interrupted at the most crucial mont, she laughed until her stomach ached. Oh, how strange fate can be at tis….

Xiao Han continued to look out the window with a cold expression. Tightly holding Chu Xiang in his embrace, he whispered in her ear, “Is it that funny? Perhaps I should bring you to a private island. That way, surely no one would be able to bother us again.”

Chu Xiang giggled softly. “We should definitely do so when we get the chance to. However, you’ll have to wait for to finish all my work first. Anyways, I’ll be taking my leave now.”

Xiao Han gently tucked Chu Xiang’s hair over her ear. “Do you need my help?”

“It’s fine.” Chu Xiang pushed open the door and walked out of the car. Keeping hold of the smile on her face, she turned around and waved her hands. “See you later, President Xiao. You better not neglect your work, okay?
