Afterwords: Volu of Hypocrisy
Hello everyone, I am Yi Weixie.
As of now, the first true part of "Restricted Fantasy Invasion" has been completed.
Actually, according to my original plan, I didn't intend to divide it into volus like my previous book.
I thought it would be fine to just use the evolution of Myau-chan's Modifier as a transition, just like after the prologue Fan A.
But after thinking about it, since the the and focus of each volu will be different, so readers might not notice it clearly. Therefore, creating volus serves as a reminder and makes the structure much clearer.
Incidentally, at the end of each volu, I can also make a summary and give so previews for the next volu's content.
As you can all see, the na of this volu is "Volu of Hypocrisy".
As the the of this volu, the content naturally revolves around hypocrisy.
In my opinion, to Yan Huan, hypocrisy is a painkiller with severe side effects.
From the very beginning, Yan Huan has been wearing the Mask of Perfect Poise, relying on his acting to resolve two crises involving Ye Shiyu and Bai Yi.
It seed to solve the problems, and it was the optimal solution he could achieve at the ti.
However, this laid the groundwork for Ye Shiyu treating him as a possession in the future, and for Bai Yi to gradually turn problematic after her expressions of affection hit a wall.
If you compare them, you will find that the approach Yan Huan took back then was fundantally the sa as Owen's short-sighted mindset of focusing purely on pros and cons.
The resulting consequences, much like Owen's failure at the end, directly turned Yan Huan into a legend of enduring pressure.
In just over a month within the story, he unlocked many famous scenes, such as the Battle Defeat CG.
And this was just the pressure while Yan Huan's hypocrisy had not yet been exposed.
Thanks to the excellent matching chanism of the Modifier Hosts, we could already see the first signs of it.
One can only imagine the severe consequences that will follow when the hypocrisy is finally exposed.
Both the person who lied and the person who was deceived will suffer heavy blows.
Sakuramiya Hitomi has already used her own personal experience to show this to Yan Huan.
Not only did it completely ruin her perfect starting hand, but it also dealt a heavy blow to Yan Huan, who had originally treated her with a sincere heart in the latter half of this volu.
This is true for the main plot of resolving the Modifiers, and it is equally true for the romantic subplots.
Always using a mask to complete tasks, passively countering every move, and using acting to construct a persona that the Hosts like—it is impossible to develop a real romance this way.
Therefore, this is the real reason why this volu focused so much on Spencer.
Only this naive yet incredibly sincere idiot would expose his hypocrisy without any consequences and bear the pressure he endures from resolving the Modifiers.
Furthermore, she taught him the value of being sincere, so much so that he finally returned to his original intentions from before the Modifiers arrived, choosing to fight for Spencer. In this sense, Yan Huan and Spencer are actually helping and completing each other.
Moreover, if you look closely, you will realize that even though Spencer herself never thought about it this way, the developnt does indeed fit the tone of her Modifier.
Because the original spouse (Sakuramiya Hitomi) did sothing to wrong him, the disheartened protagonist was taken advantage of by the yellow hair, ultimately leading to the complete surrender of his body and mind.
How about it? Hits the spot, right?
That roughly covers the summary for this volu. Next are so previews and arrangents for the future.
First of all, I want to say that you don't need to worry about Spencer going offline or getting banned.
Whether now or in the future, she is extrely important to Yan Huan and the process of resolving the Modifiers.
Just like in this volu, where Spencer was obviously the focused female lead, yet the other female characters, besides An Le, still maintained a very strong presence.
As I ntioned in the premium release thoughts, the stories of the various female leads will gradually rge and advance together.
The benefit is that it won't be like the female lead in my last book, who had a "no such person found" status imdiately after her volu ended.
The downside is that writing them in alternating waves will stretch the word count quite a bit.
So, when it gets to a specific female lead's volu, her progress will accelerate slightly past the others, but it won't be dragged out too long. The storylines of the rest will quickly catch up.
You will be able to see this in the next volu.
Regarding the developnt in the next volu, the title of Chapter 160 from this volu is the most perfect summary:
"A Blessing in Disguise"
Actually, if Hua Zhaofeng hadn't taken it upon himself to turn the two mbers of the Doujinshi Society, the Doujinshi Society wouldn't have been able to outrun the Track and Field Club in a head-to-head race.
Often, good intentions lead to bad outcos, and blessings can invite disasters. This is precisely the unpredictability of fate, and also the appealing aspect of drama.
Now, Yan Huan has broken through his own shackles and chosen to directly face his true heart, and his romantic subplot with Spencer has visibly taken a step further.
On the flip side, however, Spencer's earth-shattering kiss will also bring unpredictable disasters.
She not only provoked Ye Shiyu, Bai Yi, and Sakuramiya Hitomi who were present, but also attracted the attention of Spencer's mother far across the ocean.
Most importantly, this kiss has already brewed a storm that the other four Modifier Hosts will find difficult to withstand.
Moving forward, An Le will be very important.
This is the preview for the next volu's developnt, but before the storm arrives, I plan to spend a honeymoon period with Spencer and deliver so sweetness.
Also, I haven't taken a single day off this month. I pumped out over eight thousand words a day for eight days straight, and these past few days I've been writing tens of thousands of words. I really need to rest for two days.
I will rest on Saturday and Sunday, and then next Monday, the story of the next volu will officially begin.
[Spring Sester: Volu of Color]
That is all.
