Adam Jones’s gaze shifted to the middle-aged woman who had suddenly appeared in the hospital room, and he watched her quietly for a long ti without speaking.
Lily Bankston was taken aback by his reaction and said, “Adam?”
Uncertain, she turned her questioning gaze to the other two people in the room, and then looking at Elly Campbell, she asked, “What’s wrong with him?”
Elly Campbell pressed her lips together and said, “He doesn’t rember anyone.”
Only Sophie Baker.
She kept the words to herself, not saying them out loud, feeling extrely displeased just thinking about it.
“Doesn’t rember?”
Lily Bankston’s face couldn’t hide her surprise, and she looked at Adam Jones incredulously, “How can he not rember? Didn’t Doctor Matt say that his tests all ca back fine?”
Lily Bankston’s voice sounded sowhat overlapping as she began to maneuver the wheelchair out, “I’m going to ask Doctor Matt.”
