Isn’t Hannah Taylor afraid that walking so close to a bumpkin like Laura Jones will eventually lead to embarrassnt and implicate her too?

"The owner of this French restaurant is actually a Frenchman, catering to wealthy people who often eat Western cuisine. That’s why the waiters undergo special training. That expression of his earlier was a bit strange, don’t mind it."

Emma Williams seed to be comforting Laura Jones, but the implication was clearly mocking her.

Laura Jones isn’t foolish, how could she not catch on to that?

Hannah Taylor gave Emma Williams a glance laden with aning, suppressing the sarcasm in her eyes at Emma’s overpowering sense of superiority.

If Emma knew that Laura Jones was the daughter of the richest man, her expression would surely be distorted.

Laura Jones still wore a smile, but contrary to Emma’s expectations, she didn’t show any awkwardness, rely replied:

"But I just don’t like eating raw food. Humans have spent countless ti learning to cook raw food before eating it. Have we now reached the point where not eating raw food is a reason to be mocked?"

Emma’s face stiffened, and her eyes revealed a hint of displeasure.

Laura Jones didn’t press too hard, picked up the juice in front of her to take a sip, and remarked:

"I think whether one likes to eat raw food is just a matter of personal preference, it shouldn’t have anything to do with other reasons, right?"

Hannah Taylor, sitting beside her, also laughed and said:

"Exactly! When Bill Gates socializes with wealthy businessn, he’d still pair sneakers with a suit. Who makes fun of him?

Real wealthy people don’t care about others’ opinions; they’re only interested in their own comfort, don’t you agree, Emma?"

Hannah Taylor was not holding back; daring to target Old Mr. Lewis’s favorite, hoping things would go smoothly?

Emma Williams was sandwiched between Laura Jones and Hannah Taylor. Although they didn’t openly point at her nose and mock her, she’s no fool, she definitely picked up on it.

She couldn’t help but feel stuck with an unvented frustration.

Originally, she intended to give Laura Jones a hard ti, but it didn’t go as planned...

Forcing a smile from the corners of her lips, she bit the bullet and agreed:

"You’re right, I was just trying to explain to Laura the waiter’s reaction, no other aning."

This topic soon passed over.

Very quickly, their orders arrived.

Regarding French dishes like foie gras and caviar, Laura Jones didn’t touch them, only continued eating the large steak in front of her.

After the previous confrontation, Emma really didn’t dare to jeer at Laura Jones anymore.

Only during the dining intervals did she say:

"I have so good news for you, next month ’Seeking for the Noble’ starts filming, I’m joining the crew."

Both Hannah Taylor and Laura Jones paused their actions and raised their heads to look at her.

In Emma’s heart, a few fleeting monts of smug satisfaction arose, she glanced at the two and continued:

"You know ’Seeking for the Noble,’ right? Oh, by the way, Hannah surely knows. William Wilson is your cousin."

Hannah Taylor gave a dry chuckle and nodded, exchanging a look with Laura Jones that was full of implicit amusent.

"You’ve read the original ’Seeking for the Noble’ novel, right? My uncle got a third female lead role in the series..."

At this point, she paused before playfully saying to Hannah:

"I’m playing your cousin’s first love, you know, hehe..."

She laughed with a hint of pride while covering her mouth but subtly glanced at Laura Jones next to Hannah Taylor.

So what if Hannah introduced her? Without a chance to interact with William Wilson, how else would she make William pay attention to her?
