"If you don’t believe , fine. I’ve grown up with him since childhood, do you think I don’t know what he’s like?"
Laura Jones didn’t say anything this ti; she didn’t know how to refute Hannah Taylor’s words.
Hannah Taylor is William Wilson’s younger cousin sister. So things she can say, but Laura can’t take them too seriously.
If she takes them seriously and a joke cos out of it, it’s not good for anyone.
However, listening to these seemingly plausible words truly made her feel quite happy.
Who doesn’t hope their idol would like them? Hahaha~~~
Seeing Laura Jones remain silent, Hannah Taylor didn’t say anything more.
So things are best left unspoken; saying too much can be excessive.
Old Mr. Lewis, Old Mr. Lewis, I really can only help you this much.
If you can’t sort out this emotionally slow little bunny, don’t bla for laughing at you.
Laura Jones indeed didn’t take Hannah Taylor’s words seriously.
So daydreams are just ant to be kept in your heart; taking them seriously is not only foolish but also shaless.
"School’s over, let’s hurry ho."
Hannah Taylor said, "My brother might be waiting at the door right now."
"Why is he waiting at the door?"
"He said last ti that for your safety, if you don’t go ho after school, I can’t go ho either. I must return with you so he’ll be relieved."
Thinking about this, Hannah Taylor couldn’t help but roll her eyes once again.
How can there be such a brother who cares more about outsiders than his own kin?
He only cares about whether she’s safe; how co he doesn’t care about his beautiful younger cousin sister who’s also unsafe?
Now she believes what her mom told her before, about William Wilson trading Elizabeth Wilson with Luke Campbell to get a wife when they were young.
William Wilson is such a guy who prioritizes romance over his sister; it’s not surprising he’d trade Elizabeth Wilson for a wife.
Laura Jones took a slight pause due to Hannah Taylor’s resentful words.
The familiar heart palpitations from before struck her again.
Husband... is this him being concerned about her?
The next instant, she quickly brushed aside the unrealistic thoughts that had just surged to her mind.
It’s normal for the husband to care about her; when he first moved here, didn’t he say the big brother asked him to help look after her?
So, it’s normal that he treats her better than other fans.
Thinking this way, Laura Jones’s heart rate started to normalize again.
But for so reason, this previously perfectly reasonable explanation now left her with a sense of loss when she tried to explain.
The two had just left the teaching building, ready to head to the parking lot, when Emma Williams’s voice called from behind—
"Hannah, Laura."
Both turned around to see Emma Williams walking swiftly towards them, without her usual little bunch following her this ti.
"Are you heading ho?"
"Yeah, we’re just about to go."
Hannah Taylor wasn’t fond of Emma Williams; the person was too driven by self-interest, even if they didn’t interact much, she could feel it.
Before, she acted high and mighty ignoring them, but lately, she’s been actively chatting with them; if she’s not up to sothing, Hannah would gladly offer her head for Emma to sit on as a stool.
Laura Jones didn’t have as much of a problem with Emma Williams as Hannah did, but she wasn’t willing to get too close either.
She’s not the type of fool who doesn’t realize what Emma is trying to do.
The main aim of Emma’s actions is likely focused on Hannah, while Laura, the "tag-along," is probably just incidental.
