At this mont, Laura Jones had no idea that Selim’s ambitions had grown to target her brother. Hearing her say this, she replied:

"No need, my brother is very easygoing, it’s not like ancient tis where n and won have to avoid eting."

Selim pursed her lips. Seeing that Laura didn’t directly answer when her brother would co over, she didn’t dare to ask again, fearing Laura might overthink it, so she only said:

"Then I’m relieved."

With a plan in mind, Selim didn’t ask any more about matters related to Luke Campbell. Instead, she thought she needed to first find a way to deal with the big trouble that was Hannah Taylor.

Laura Jones’s editor-in-chief was very efficient. As soon as she got ho, the editor-in-chief had already sent the finalized film contract to Laura.

Laura went to the study to handle the contract, while Selim kept pondering how to deal with Hannah.

She habitually leaned against the floor-to-ceiling window. Cloud Thunder Community and Cloudy Splendor Community were not far apart, and from the window she could just see the entrance of Cloudy Splendor.

At this mont, she saw Hannah Taylor walking intimately out of the community with a middle-aged man who looked to be in his fifties.

The middle-aged man tapped Hannah’s head, then dotingly ruffled her hair. No matter how you looked at it, Selim would never believe these two had nothing to do with each other.

"You little slut!"

Selim muttered a curse under her breath as she watched Hannah and the middle-aged man.

After printing the contract sent by her editor, Laura habitually logged into her Twitter. She saw a comnt notification on her alternate account, clicked to see another comnt from that "zombie follower."

It was left on a post she made at school—

About her new book’s film rights having been sold, jokingly wishing William Wilson would play the male lead.

Zombie Follower: Your husband will definitely take your show, keep it up.

Laura chuckled when she saw this comnt.

Rembering the last ti, when she said her husband lived across the hall and she was going to make an excuse to visit, he had left a note under the na William Wilson, saying his door was open for her to co in.

As it turned out, the door across the hall was indeed open, and not only that, but she even mooched a cup of coffee at her husband’s place.

At that ti, she marveled at how spot-on that zombie follower’s comnt was.

She was self-aware enough to know that, no matter how well she wrote, she was still far from those top-notch screenwriting seniors.

She didn’t dare to dream that a bigshot like her husband would really take on her script.

Looking at that comnt, she muttered:

"If your comnt turns out to be just as accurate this ti, I’ll set up a shrine for you."

After a bit of self-talk, she didn’t take it seriously, logged out of Twitter, and picked up the printed contract, preparing to mail it out.

As she walked out of the study, she saw Selim standing by the window, her expression sowhat tangled and complicated. Seeing Laura, there was a hint of hesitation in her eyes.

"What’s up?"

Laura asked.

Selim pressed her lips together, looking troubled as she walked over to Laura and whispered:

"Laura, I have to say sothing you might not want to hear."

Having experienced this before, Laura instinctively felt a bit resistant when she heard Selim’s words.

She furrowed her brow slightly without revealing her thoughts and said:

"What do you want to say?"

Selim glanced toward the floor-to-ceiling window and said softly:

"I just saw Hannah Taylor at the window."

Laura knew there was friction between Hannah and Selim and had already decided she wouldn’t bring them together next ti.
