As they were about to leave the neighborhood, William Wilson noticed that Laura Jones’s pace had noticeably slowed down, with a faint tendency to put so distance between them.

"What’s wrong?"

he asked.

Laura Jones didn’t hide it from him and said softly,

"There are definitely paparazzi lurking outside the neighborhood. If I leave with you and get photographed, it would affect you."

William Wilson was montarily stunned; he hadn’t thought about that.

He always maintained clean and self-improvent, never getting close to any unfamiliar won, going out with a clear conscience, and never considering such things.

But what the little girl said did remind him of sothing.

He himself didn’t mind being photographed by the paparazzi, but it was different for the little girl.

She was still a student, and he couldn’t let her personal life be affected because of him.

In case they encountered so extre fans, he worried it might not be good for her.

Thinking this way, William Wilson said,

"You’re right, next ti we should go out separately."

After speaking, he paused for a mont, called his assistant, and said,

"Bring the car to the underground garage."

The assistant was a bit puzzled when he received the call. Just a few minutes ago, the boss had personally texted him to wait outside the neighborhood, so why was he now being asked to co in?

Though he found his boss’s actions confusing, the assistant didn’t ask more and drove into the neighborhood.

After hanging up the phone, William Wilson smiled at her and teased,

"Don’t worry, you can go out now."

Laura Jones heard him make the call earlier and had guessed his arrangents, so she walked out confidently.

With so many residents in this neighborhood, no one would believe she had any connection with Movie Star William Wilson, let alone that they were neighbors living on the sa floor.

With that thought, Laura Jones proudly puffed out her chest and walked out with a swagger.

The apartnt Laura Jones lived in was bought for her by William Campbell. Originally, he wanted to arrange for a driver to specifically pick her up and drop her off for school, but she decisively refused.

Though there were also a few rich young masters and misses who were chauffeured to school, they were very few.

Every ti these people ca to school, they were always watched and discussed by classmates, including their family background, appearance, and so on.

Laura Jones didn’t like being watched like that, nor did she want her family background to be a topic of discussion.

She preferred living a normal college student’s life like she was now, without so many concerns.

Although she was sowhat absent-minded by nature, she wasn’t a sheltered heiress ignorant of the world.

She knew she was the daughter of the richest family, and once her identity was exposed, it would bring so unnecessary trouble.

What she hated most was getting into such unnecessary trouble.

As a result, her daily routine of leaving this multi-million-dollar luxury neighborhood to take the bus was quite a unique scene in the neighborhood.

In the following two days, Laura Jones didn’t see William Wilson again, but she had heard earlier that he was going to Milan for Fashion Week, which was happening these couple of days.

Laura Jones didn’t bother him, just as if no film bigwig had ever lived across the street.

Nonetheless, she could still learn comprehensive information about William Wilson online, including so candid photos taken on the street.

With his handso looks and tall, slender figure, William Wilson’s natural assets ensured that even a casual photo taken by passersby looked better than many people’s touched-up images.

Coupled with a rare aristocratic aura, it elevated his deanor several notches.
