Although she only has one book at the mont, there’s already soone discussing a film adaptation, and she’s earned quite a bit from digital subscriptions.

This inco, although not comparable to the pocket money her parents give her each month, still brings a sense of accomplishnt because she earned it herself.

Even though she and Selim are now considered authors of different levels and status, she’s genuinely kind to Selim.

Selim writes quickly, having already published four or five novels in quick succession, unlike Laura Jones, who took nearly a year to complete just one book.

However, she doesn’t purely rely on this for making money. With her well-off family background, she’s not very fixated on money, and she just writes leisurely.

After listening to her suggestion, Selim remained silent for a while before responding.

Selim: [The point you raised doesn’t align with my character’s personality, so I’ll stick to my own idea.]

Laura Jones pursed her lips when she saw Selim’s reply.

This wasn’t the first ti Selim had rejected her suggestions, but since Selim showed her the work, she always seriously gave her input. Even if, in the end, Selim wouldn’t adopt her suggestions, she provided them diligently each ti.

She wouldn’t insist on Selim using her ideas, nor would she overly criticize Selim’s writing.

Since Selim didn’t accept it, she wouldn’t say anything further.

Just like before, she typed a few words in response—

[Alright, if you need my help, just hit up on Instagram.]

Selim replied with an [OK] emoji, without any other words, and Laura Jones didn’t reply further either.

During the holidays these past few days, she was at ho with her parents and didn’t really write much. She happened to get a recomndation, so she had to hurry and quickly finish so writing at this ti.

The next day, she was heading back to Alaska, and Adam Jones, not wanting to part with his daughter, personally drove her to the airport.

"During the winter break, Daddy will send a private jet to pick you up."

Adam Jones spoke in a low voice.

His precious daughter was sought after through various ans, and from childhood, she stayed by his side. He personally handled everything, from brushing her hair to braiding it.

Since she went off to university, they had been apart, and the more Adam thought about it, the more he was unwilling to let go.

"Thank you, Daddy."

After Laura Jones passed through security, Adam Jones reluctantly left, turning back every few steps.

His daughter had grown up; eventually, she would leave him. If she married that chubby guy, she’d have to live in Alaska permanently.

Thinking of this, Adam Jones felt a bit lancholic.

Returning ho in Alaska, Laura Jones first thoroughly cleaned the house that hadn’t been tidied for a week.

Then, she went to a nearby supermarket to stock up on so daily necessities and snacks.

Standing in the elevator, she pondered the content for her evening update while ntally preparing her study and writing plans for the upcoming period.

The elevator rose floor by floor, finally stopping at the floor she lived on.

Arms full of too many things, she walked out, unable to see the path ahead, navigating by feeling alone.

There were only two units on her floor.

She lived in one, and the other was unoccupied. Typically, when she went out, she wouldn’t encounter anyone.

So when she walked out of the elevator carrying tall piles of things, she wasn’t expecting to bump into soone.

The items in her hands fell all over the ground.

"Sorry..."

"Apologies."

Their voices sounded almost simultaneously.
