Thomas Smith impatiently interrupted Olivia Smith’s words.

Those miserable words, when heard too often, can beco annoying, especially since Thomas Smith had clearly been influenced by Edward Smith’s remarks.

He often thought about how Olivia had once taken dicine from him, saying she lost it, and he believed her.

But can there really be such a coincidental situation?

The dicine she took and lost ended up in Helen lendy’s body.

She borrowed Nighthawk from him, the person she was watching was precisely Helen lendy, claiming she fell in love at first sight with Harry Hall.

But even if she fell in love at first sight with a man, she didn’t do anything, just sent soone to spy on her rival?

Such a far-fetched reason, yet he believed them all before. When he thought seriously about it now, all those reasons seed absurd and laughable.

He quietly watched Olivia, suddenly perceiving her as very unfamiliar.

Olivia was taken aback by the obvious impatience in Thomas’s tone.

It was the first ti she heard Thomas speaking to her in such a tone, a flash of unease crossed her heart.

Did that idiot Thomas really get brainwashed by the Smith Family?

Just one al, and it completely ruined all her painstaking efforts?

Olivia felt both angry and unwilling, and simultaneously, a bit scared.

If even Thomas doesn’t stand with her, who else can she rely on then?

She looked at Thomas with a pitiful expression, choking up as she spoke:

"Second Brother, did I say sothing wrong? I’m just thinking about our future, it’s okay if you think I’m petty, but... you can’t misunderstand ."

Tears welled up in her eyes pitifully, "Do you think I’m deliberately trying to stir things up? I’m really thinking about the future of our family of three."

Suddenly, Thomas felt sowhat weary, raising his hand to pinch his brow, saying:

"That’s not what I ant, I just think you’re worrying a bit too much."

He gently patted Olivia’s back, soothing her, saying:

"No matter how much Mom and Dad dislike you, you’re still carrying their grandchild. They wouldn’t be stingy enough to deny you food and clothing."

Previously, if Thomas spoke like this, Olivia would definitely argue back, but now, she realized that Thomas’s mood seed off; further talk would only make him dislike her more.

All her hopes were now pinned on Thomas; she absolutely couldn’t afford to upset him.

"Second Brother, you are right, I did overthink. I was just... just suddenly frightened by having another child."

She could now only use the child to keep Thomas on her side.

Thomas actually still had feelings for her, especially with her pregnant, he tended to overthink, so seeing her like this, he felt reluctant.

Thinking that his previous attitude might have been harsh, he might have frightened her, he gently pulled her into his arms, saying:

"It’ll be okay. If Mom and Dad really go to extres, I will definitely make them explain."

All Olivia could do now was obediently listen to Thomas. She also understood that in the future, similar provocative words would be hard for her to say.

Who had spoken to Thomas? Why did he, who would originally listen to her every word, change so quickly after just one al?

As she wondered, she heard Thomas say:

"Let’s not bring up the shares anymore. Dad hasn’t ntioned splitting the family assets, and asking for things from Dad seems unreasonable. The shares that Eldest Brother holds were bought from other shareholders, not given by Dad."
