He cautiously glanced at his parents, suppressing his inner unease, and continued:
"At the ti, I thought the hospital must have made a mistake, so I checked her other blood test results, all showing blood type B."
Evelyn Taylor took several deep breaths, swallowing back her anger.
"So, you helped Olivia conceal her true identity?"
Edward Smith looked at him calmly; his voice was emotionless, but there was a chilling light in his eyes.
Thomas Smith had anticipated that the family would surely shift their anger onto Olivia, which was already worrying him.
Hearing Edward’s question, he quickly explained:
"No, Olivia doesn’t know. Perhaps she wasn’t seriously injured; after simple treatnt, she was discharged from the hospital. I kept all those docunts."
Thomas indeed wasn’t lying.
"I was suspicious at the ti, so secretly took Olivia’s hair and mine for a DNA test, and found that Olivia and I have no blood relationship."
Evelyn Taylor watched Thomas narrate such a matter so plainly, she was infuriated and wanted to slap him a few more tis.
"So, since you know Olivia isn’t your blood sister, why didn’t you tell us?"
Charles Smith, while comforting Evelyn, tried to suppress his anger, asking calmly.
"I considered telling you, but... Olivia has been my sister for over a decade, and I couldn’t bear parting with her. Besides, the real sister who was mistakenly taken remains unknown. I couldn’t bear losing Olivia, and was afraid of your sorrow, so I decided to let the mistake continue."
Who knew Helen lendy would be found, especially so unexpectedly, leaving unprepared.
One can imagine how panicked Olivia must have been upon realizing she wasn’t the Smith Family daughter.
At this mont, Thomas had clearly forgotten the matter of Olivia using him to manufacture that poison.
Evelyn was no longer angry, simply watching Thomas, and after a while, emitted a few low chuckles.
Though she appeared calm, her raised hand mildly trembled from suppressing anger.
"Thomas, get out, and never return to the Smith Family."
Speaking, she glanced towards the butler in the living room with an indescribable expression, "Make sure soone guards the door; if he dares co in, break his legs for ."
Initially, Thomas felt guilty, but upon hearing Evelyn’s rciless demand for expulsion, he couldn’t believe it and raised his head, eyes filled not only with shock but also undisguised anger.
"Mom, do you really want to expel ?"
"Yes, I really want you gone. Get out now. Our Smith Family doesn’t entertain such unfilial, unrighteous things."
Evelyn no longer looked at Thomas but instead turned to Edward and said:
"The money he used to buy Olivia’s house, retrieve it for . Anyone who harms my daughter, I won’t let her go. Thomas, aren’t you fond of her? Go stay with her, keep good watch. If she accidentally breaks her limbs, that wouldn’t be good."
Thomas saw the unrelenting harshness on Evelyn’s face, as well as the undisguised murderous intent in her eyes, his heart fiercely trembled.
The mother he rembered was intelligent, gentle, well-mannered, a model of high-class aristocratic education.
He had never seen such a fierce, murderous side of his mother, the shock and disbelief in his eyes even harder to hide.
