Helen lendy continued to smile.
“Sister-in-law, I’m leaving now. I’ll co to hang out with you another day.”
Helen lendy nodded and kept smiling.
When the Richards Clan’s car left from outside their villa, the smile on Helen lendy’s face gradually faded away.
Beside her, Harry Hall’s soft laughter could be heard. Helen turned to look at him and said irritably:
“What’s so funny?”
Harry Hall reached out to put his arm around her shoulder, closed the courtyard gate, and turned to head inside, “If you don’t like them, don’t force yourself. Haven’t you noticed what the Richards Clan is up to?”
Helen shrugged and said with a smile:
“When they co to visit, they’re guests. Considering their territory has been ruined by you, yet they’ve brought so many gifts to apologize, we should at least maintain so hospitality.”
As she spoke, she thought of Shannon Richards, “However, your younger cousin sister might really co to hang out with . I’m not that interested in entertaining her, so help send her away.”
Harry Hall nodded and said, “Looks like we really can’t do without help at ho. I’ll arrange for a couple of bodyguards to co over tomorrow. If Shannon Richards cos, they’ll directly stop her.”
“Alright.”
Helen nodded in agreent with a smile.
Upon returning to the living room, after Helen sat down, Harry suddenly stood in front of her, placing his hands on her shoulders, pressing her into the sofa, and looking at her seriously, saying:
“Now, tell , is there sothing you need to discuss with over these past couple of days?”
“Huh?”
Helen was montarily stunned, not imdiately understanding what Harry ant.
“What is it?”
She asked.
“Shouldn’t I be the one asking you that?”
Harry squatted in front of her, looking into her sowhat bewildered eyes, and said helplessly.
“You’ve been looking like you have sothing to say over the past couple of days but don’t know how to say it, do you?”
He cupped her face and said earnestly:
“I’ve given you two days to think about it. Still not ready to say it?”
Helen finally understood what Harry was talking about, and a flicker of comprehension washed over her eyes.
But then, her brow furrowed again.
The next second, Harry reached out to smooth the crease in her brow, saying:
“Don’t frown, whatever it is, just tell without worry, I’ll solve it for you.”
Helen huffed inwardly, wanting to say, it’s your gossip, can you really resolve it for ?
But she rembered what Elly Campbell had said, and Helen sighed inwardly again.
The man you marry, no matter how many flings he has, you still have to deal with them yourself.
“Let ask you a question, and you have to answer honestly.”
Helen looked at him seriously.
“Alright, I promise to answer honestly to my dear wife.”
Harry held up three fingers as if taking an oath, which made Helen burst into laughter.
After thinking it over, she decided to share with Harry what she accidentally saw with Clarke Ainley and the odd snippets in her mind. After she finished speaking, she noticed Harry’s expression turned cold.
Helen worried he might get angry, so she quietly watched him, feeling a bit desolate for no apparent reason.
She couldn’t even distinguish if she wished for an honest answer from Harry or an excuse to placate her.
“When did this happen?”
Harry squinted, and his voice had a hint of heaviness.
“How would I know when it happened? If I knew, would I need to ask you?”
Helen felt a strange irritation and annoyance rise within her, and her tone grew sharper as she answered him.
