Chapter 1910: Chapter 1910: Sumr Hall Side Story (112)

No matter how bad her relationship with Harry Hall was in private, outsiders weren’t particularly aware of it.

So, outside, Leanne Richards was always praised and complinted by others because she was Harry Hall’s mother.

But today, she was slapped in public, and how could she tolerate that.

Especially since this woman even claid to be the mother of that little bitch Helen lendy?

Wasn’t that little bitch an orphan?

When did she suddenly get a mother, and a mother of noble birth at that?

Although Leanne Richards refused to believe this was true, the two faces looked too alike, so alike that even if she didn’t want to believe it, it was impossible.

She dared not look at Evelyn Taylor, but she was not afraid of Helen lendy.

From the bottom of her heart, she looked down on Helen lendy, thinking she was better than Helen lendy.

This confidence, ingrained in her very bones, made her never change even though she had suffered setbacks from Helen lendy several tis.

“Helen lendy, is this your mother? Quite sothing, huh, letting your mother hit . Do you believe that I will tell my son right now and let him see what kind of person he’s married to, who dares to let soone hit his mother-in-law.”

She began to wield the authority of a mother-in-law, and on the side, Elly Campbell burst into laughter.

“Didn’t Miss Richards disown Helen as her daughter-in-law? So why is she now using her status as a mother-in-law to oppress people? Is all this backtracking typical of useless people like you?”

“…”

Leanne Richards dared not provoke Evelyn Taylor with bodyguards, nor dared she provoke Elly Campbell who had Adam Jones behind her, but she only dared to show off in front of Helen lendy.

Being mocked by Elly Campbell made her glare at her fiercely. She was about to call Harry Hall, but saw Helen lendy looking at her with a half-smile, asking:

“Miss Richards, are you sure you want to disgrace yourself?”

The dialing motion of Leanne Richards paused for a mont, quickly understanding the aning behind Helen lendy’s words.

Yes, that ungrateful son had his soul captured by this Fox Spirit, if she called him over, wouldn’t it just make these people laugh at her even more?

But having been hit like this, could she just let it go and walk away in disgrace?

She was unwilling and felt unjustified.

Yet, to her astonishnt, she found that she had no advantage here.

She couldn’t use her son to threaten people, nor could she take the bodyguard and confront the suddenly appearing woman head-on, so apart from walking away in disgrace, what else could she do.

With resentnt, Leanne Richards swept her gaze over Evelyn Taylor, Helen lendy, and Elly Campbell, finally dragged Shannon Richards along, and turned to leave under the mockery of everyone.

She thought it was enough to leave in such a sorry state, but Evelyn Taylor was not going to let her go easily.

“Stop!”

Leanne Richards’ heart quivered with those two words. She had to admit, she was indeed frightened by this inexplicable woman.

Clenching her teeth, she turned around, glaring at Evelyn Taylor with hatred, saying resentfully:

“What else do you want?”

Evelyn Taylor curled her lips and took the pair of shoes that Elly Campbell was holding, saying:

“Our family may be wealthy, but we have always adhered to the traditional virtue of being frugal. It’s too wasteful to throw away a perfectly good pair of shoes just because of a mouthful of phlegm.”

Leanne Richards’ face changed abruptly, quickly realizing what Evelyn Taylor intended to do.

“Wipe it clean.”

The bodyguard took the shoes and handed them to Leanne Richards.

Looking at the mouthful of phlegm, even though she had spat it herself, Leanne Richards found it revolting and nauseating.

More importantly, if she cleaned Helen lendy’s shoes, wouldn’t she truly beco the laughing stock of the circle?
