Capítulo 1907: Chapter 1907: Sumr Hall Side Story (109)

“Once you’re done eating, I’ll take you back.”

“Okay.”

Ever since Elly Campbell resolved the troubles that needed attention, she hasn’t been much involved in Campbell’s affairs. There’s a manager specifically handling it, allowing her to spend more ti with her two sons.

With her sons attending school, she had even more free ti.

Occasionally, she would et with Helen lendy for coffee or als, enjoying a very leisurely life.

Helen lendy’s law firm has gained significant prestige, and many people, knowing she’s Harry Hall’s wife, would often introduce legal businesses to her firm out of respect for Harry Hall.

As a result, Helen lendy beca quite busy, to the point that even her husband, Harry, had so complaints.

Helen lendy’s legs have now recovered well, and with Harry’s companionship in constant exercises, she’s walking more competently, but still slower than a normal person; her steps don’t have enough strength yet.

While walking, Elly Campbell would instinctively support her a bit, the two holding hands without any noticeable difference compared to ordinary people.

While passing by a custom-designed won’s clothing store, they unfortunately encountered soone they particularly disliked.

Leanne Richards hasn’t been doing well lately, ever since the fallout with Harry Hall that day. She thought he was just scaring her, wouldn’t really act so decisively.

But she hadn’t expected him to act decisively and so swiftly.

Within a month, the Richards Clan’s branches in New Horse were abruptly shut down, even the dostic ones weren’t spared, now barely surviving with her brother’s desperate support.

If Harry Hall just moves his finger, the Richards Clan is completely dood.

She knew all of this was caused by Helen lendy, that Fox Spirit. If it weren’t for her instigations, she didn’t believe her son could really be so heartless towards her.

Seeing Helen lendy now made her eyes turn bloodshot, like a hungry wolf in dire straits suddenly spotting prey it could tear apart, wishing to rush up and rip her to shreds.

She glared at Helen lendy, and the next second, had already dashed up to her.

“Mom.”

Helen lendy initially intended to ignore her and walk away, but unexpectedly, Leanne Richards charged at her like a madwoman.

Helen still greeted her smoothly.

“Ugh!”

Leanne Richards directly spat saliva onto Helen lendy’s shoes. “What kind of thing are you to call Mom?”

Helen lendy gazed at the puddle of slightly greenish spit on the shoe surface, furrowing her brows, feeling as though countless maggots were crawling on her foot, making her feel nauseated.

Calling her Mom was out of consideration for Harry Hall, not that she truly regarded this fool as a mother-in-law.

Helen lendy rolled her eyes internally and took out a tissue from her bag, handing it to Leanne Richards, with a seemingly gentle but unquestionable smile—

“Wipe it off.”

Leanne Richards glanced at the tissue handed to her, as if witnessing a joke, she threw her head back and laughed.

Then, she snatched the tissue Helen lendy proffered, tore it into shreds, and threw it on the ground.

“What kind of foxy charr are you, that you dare ask to wipe your shoes?”

Helen lendy wasn’t angry but felt the disgust on her foot like crawling maggots.

Elly Campbell, not wanting to leave Helen lendy alone there, asked a nearby store assistant to help buy a new pair of shoes.
