Not to ntion this ten-billion-dollar house.

Right now, the couple treats her like a deity, praising and flattering her so much that Leanne Richards is starting to feel smug.

She thought that as long as she treated this seductive vixen kindly, the vixen would be caught off guard, grateful to her, and asking for this card would be a piece of cake, wouldn’t it?

Once she got the card and picked a house, when they found out, would her son really ask her to return it?

It’s just a done deal once the rice is cooked.

Leanne Richards had already made up her mind that as long as she got her hands on the card from the vixen, everything else would be simple.

Who knew this vixen would be so hard to deal with and even use these words against her.

She felt a bit annoyed, especially since she already disliked Helen lendy, and her patience was being worn thin, with her emotions now showing on her face.

"What do you take for? I’m the matriarch of the Hall Family, not soone from a poor background like yours, how could I lose sleep over just a house?"

Her tone involuntarily turned sarcastic again, and her gaze at Helen lendy carried a hint of disdain.

"Don’t be so shortsighted, after all, you are now the Young Lady of the Hall Family, be more generous and don’t embarrass Harry."

After speaking, she saw Helen lendy lower her eyes, press her lips together, her expression showing a hint of annoyance.

Soon after, she saw Helen lendy look up at her, and said, "You’re right, Mom, I am now the Young Lady of the Hall Family, I need to give face to my husband; how can I be so shortsighted? It’s just a house, why would I be unnecessarily worried?"

Leanne Richards thought she had persuaded Helen lendy and felt a mont of joy, only to hear Helen lendy say:

"It’s just a house, if I were so worried that I needed Mom to keep it for , it’d be stingy. If word got out that the Young Lady of the Hall Family was so shortsighted, wouldn’t people laugh at ?"

"You..."

Leanne Richards’ facial muscles twitched harshly again.

"So, Mom, I can’t rely on you for everything. I need to learn to grow on my own, and strive to play the role of the Young Lady of the Hall Family well, without embarrassing my husband. Let keep that card myself to train myself, right?"

Leanne Richards was so angry her insides twisted.

She realized this little wench had been toying with her from the start, every word she said was ant to shut her up.

Claiming she wouldn’t embarrass her husband on the outside was essentially saying she, as the mother-in-law, was shortsighted, eyeing her daughter-in-law’s belongings.

This wench!

Leanne Richards’ anger surged!

Helen lendy no longer wanted to deal with her, and turned to go upstairs.

Leanne Richards was fuming, thinking of her younger brother and sister-in-law looking at her with those admiring and expectant eyes; if she didn’t get that card from this little wench today, where would her face go?

Just as Helen lendy had climbed two steps, Leanne Richards called out to her, "Stop!"

Finally, she was no longer pretending in front of her.

Helen lendy curled her lips in a mocking manner, turned her head to look at Leanne Richards.

"What’s Mom’s command now?"

Leanne Richards didn’t want to pretend with her anymore either, she directly extended her hand and said:

"I don’t want to waste words with you, as your mother-in-law, what’s wrong with keeping sothing safe for you?"

Even Jane, who had been keeping watch in the living room, afraid that Leanne Richards would lay a hand on Helen lendy, was stunned by Leanne Richards’ shaless act.
