Although Helen lendy didn’t know what exactly Leanne Richards was up to, with such pleasant words coming her way, she naturally had to play along.

"Yes, Mom’s right."

"Then hurry and have breakfast, and once you’re done, let the family driver take you to work."

"Okay."

Suppressing the doubts in her heart, Helen picked up the utensils and quietly began to eat.

Not only Helen, even Jane on the side felt that sothing was odd about Leanne today.

Usually, when Young Master is around, the lady of the house isn’t this kind to the Young Lady. With Young Master away, she becos so caring and considerate; even she couldn’t help but feel anxious for the Young Lady.

As a servant of the Hall Family, she knows well what the lady’s usual deanor is like.

To have such a sudden change in personality within a day, she absolutely didn’t believe it.

She glanced worriedly at Helen; the Young Lady must not be deceived by the lady, otherwise, if sothing happens, she wouldn’t be able to explain to the Young Master.

From the ti Helen finished breakfast to when she went to work at the company, Leanne’s attitude was unusually gentle and kind, which inevitably raised Helen’s guard.

When she got off work and returned ho, the Hall Family’s driver was already waiting downstairs at her law firm.

"Young Lady, the lady sent to pick you up and take you ho."

Although Helen was a bit puzzled inside, she still got into the car with the driver.

She assud that Leanne wouldn’t dare to do anything to her openly.

The car drove towards the Hall Family’s house, and as soon as it reached the gates, Helen saw Leanne standing outside the villa, looking at her with a gentle smile.

Helen’s eyes deepened, and after the car stopped, Leanne imdiately ca forward to open the car door for her.

"Helen, you’re back."

"Thank you, Mom."

Helen gave Leanne a glance, without revealing any emotion, and thanked her.

"Thank for what, Harry isn’t here, and normally it’s just at ho for als. Now with you here, I’m not so lonely."

As she spoke, she sighed, looking quite sorrowful.

Helen’s eyes slightly flickered, but she said nothing and cautiously started to slowly make her way towards the villa.

"Be careful."

Leanne reminded her step by step, even reaching out to support her, filled with concern and care.

"Was work smooth today? Did any clients give you a hard ti? If you ever encounter difficult clients, you must tell Mom when you co back, and I’ll stand up for you."

"No, the clients were all nice."

Helen responded calmly, remaining unmoved by the facade.

As they walked inside, the aroma of dishes wafted from the dining room.

"Madam, Young Lady, dinner is ready."

Jane ca into the hall and spoke to the two of them.

Leanne nodded, then smiled warmly at Helen, still maintaining the loving mother-in-law deanor, standing by the dining table, she served Helen a bowl of soup and placed it in front of her.

"Here, Helen, this is the soup Mom personally made for you, with lots of nourishing herbs. Look at you, you’re so thin, you need to nourish yourself well."

Helen looked at the fine-looking mushroom soup in front of her, made with rather expensive varieties of mushrooms.

Though Helen didn’t eat them often, it wasn’t as if she couldn’t recognize them.

Leanne was really going all out.

What was she really up to?

First, she makes her breakfast in the morning, then waits for her at the door after work, and now personally makes a stew for her. For soone’s attitude towards another to change overnight, there’s only one possible explanation: that person has ulterior motives for you.
