Harry Hall was truly happy. After nearly ten years of waiting, he finally married the woman he wanted to marry.

Therefore, even though he was usually reticent and quiet, when he spoke to guests about his wife, he was talkative and couldn’t stop talking.

Helen lendy had never seen Harry Hall be so talkative in a formal occasion, and she found it quite novel.

She had never attended such high society events before. The only ti she rembered was that one celebration dinner at the President’s residence, when Harry Hall took her along.

Previously, she never imagined she would attend such gatherings full of social elites, let alone becoming the hostess of such occasions one day.

Despite lacking experience, when Harry Hall introduced her to the guests, she responded graciously and didn’t make the slightest blunder.

When the introductions were mostly over, Harry Hall led Helen lendy to a private lounge by the villa, specially prepared for her —

"Are you tired? Do you want to rest here for a bit?"

"I’m not tired at all, how could I be after such a short while? You’re thinking of as too weak."

Harry Hall smiled nonchalantly and said,

"You’re my wife now, so of course, I have to care for you and love you all the ti."

Helen lendy felt a chill at his words and couldn’t help but rub her arms, joking,

"Senior Hall, how did I not know before that you could be so cheesy?"

Harry Hall laughed and crouched down in front of her, his hand gently touching the bun of her hair, saying,

"I’ve always been this cheesy in front of you, you just forgot."

The smile on Helen lendy’s face slightly faded upon hearing this.

She looked at Harry Hall apologetically and said softly,

"I’m sorry, I’ll try to rember better in the future."

Harry Hall shook his head with a smile and said,

"The past is the past. You used to chase , now it’s my turn to chase you."

He stood up, leaned slightly to plant a kiss on her forehead, and sincerely stated,

"Helen, I know you haven’t fallen in love with yet. Trust , I’ll work hard to win you over, not just you, but also..."

He pointed to the left side of Helen lendy’s chest, "Your heart."

Helen lendy instinctively wanted to argue, but the truth was she didn’t have deep feelings for Harry Hall at the mont.

Any unnecessary argunt would seem insincere instead.

However, the man in front of her was her admired and unattainable idol.

Although the feelings weren’t deep, she had secretly had a crush on him. Now that he was her lawful husband, if she didn’t like him, who could she possibly like?

Thinking it over, she took the initiative to reach out and hug Harry Hall’s sturdy waist, saying,

"Have I now gotten Senior Hall’s heart?"

"Of course! Both body and heart are yours."

Harry Hall responded without the slightest hesitation, placing his hand over the soft hands on his waist, his eyes deepening, saying,

"If you don’t believe it, feel it."

"I believe! I believe!"

Helen nodded earnestly and firmly, not even realizing the smile of happiness spreading silently across her face at the mont.

A man who was willing to stay with her for over a year, not leaving, while she was a vegetative state with no hope of waking up, and a man who, when she couldn’t walk and might never stand again, braved everyone’s strange looks to insist on marrying her, when he said he loved her, and that both his body and heart were hers, how could she not believe him?
