“That’s one of the reasons, but another reason is because of you, Mrs. Hall.”
“Because of ?”
Leanne Richards sneered, “Did I beg you to marry into the Hall Family?”
“Not at all, I know Mrs. Hall is so disgusted by the sight of that you can’t even eat.”
“Ha! At least you’re self-aware.”
“When I think that Mrs. Hall loses her appetite seeing , it makes enjoy my al more, and I think that’s not too bad.”
When Leanne Richards heard Helen lendy’s words, her already unpleasant expression twisted further, revealing her ugliness.
“Helen lendy, you little bitch…”
Leanne Richards raised her hand to slap Helen lendy’s face when a stern voice rang out from the entrance of the bridal shop, “Stop!”
Leanne’s hand froze in mid-air.
She turned to see her son walking towards her with a dark look on his face, the coldness in his eyes making Leanne shiver with fear.
But with others watching, she couldn’t afford to back down in front of her son, lest Helen lendy feel triumphant.
Harry Hall approached, and Leanne decided to go on the offensive and acted up:
“Harry Hall, I’m your real mother, how dare you shout at ? You ungrateful son!”
Harry Hall just glanced at her indifferently and said,
“Mom, let calmly tell you once more, Helen lendy was soone I pleaded thick-skinned to have, she’s not the one eager to marry . Whether or not you want to accept it, she’s still my wife, your daughter-in-law.”
Though Harry Hall spoke of being “calm,” each word he uttered was firm and struck Leanne’s heart undeniably.
Leanne was so angry her temples throbbed, and her eyes bulged with rage.
“Daughter-in-law? I will never acknowledge her as my daughter-in-law for the rest of my life!”
“No problem, as long as I acknowledge her as my wife, it’s enough.”
Harry Hall said matter-of-factly, “And don’t think of using your status as mother-in-law to suppress her.”
“You…”
“Mom, I recall I reminded you before.”
Harry Hall’s icy words interrupted what Leanne was about to say.
The next mont, Harry picked up his phone and called his assistant, “Stop the Richards’s Enterprises project.”
When Leanne heard what Harry said, her eyes widened further.
The Richards Clan had lost quite a bit due to Harry’s actions earlier, leaving Leanne unable to eat for several days out of anger.
Just as things started to smooth over, he went and did this again for that bitch Helen lendy, towards his own uncle.
“Harry Hall!!”
Leanne’s emotions beca sowhat uncontrollable as she scread at him, “Are you still human, treating your own mother and uncle this way for a cripple, you…”
Harry Hall ignored her words, dialing another number, “Director Gresia, has the Richards’s Corporation’s loan been approved? … Oh, no worries. If it doesn’t get approved, that’s even better.”
Adrian Richards was nothing but a punk and a scoundrel in his younger days, having no clue about business.
The reason he’s where he is today is that he rode the coattails of the Hall Clan’s big ship.
When William Hall was in charge, he didn’t mind helping Richards. Now that Harry Hall is in charge, it’s a different story.
He ans what he says. Since Leanne went out of her way several tis to humiliate his carefully pursued fiancée, he couldn’t hit or kill Leanne, so he could only make a move against the Richards Clan.
