Unknowingly, the ti ca for the doctors to officially start their shifts.

The doctor who first attended to Elly Campbell was none other than Jas Churchill.

After realizing he had no chance with Elly, Jas Churchill decisively let go, not wanting to cause her any unnecessary troubles.

Later, seeing that despite so storms, her relationship with Adam Jones grew increasingly closer, he understood even more that he had lost his chance.

Gradually, the contact between the two of them beca less frequent.

Adam Jones wasn’t surprised to see it was Jas Churchill.

After all, he was a surgeon and now the deputy director of neurosurgery, so it was quite normal for him to attend to Elly Campbell.

Jas Churchill pushed open the ICU door, conducted a simple preliminary examination on Elly Campbell, and then heard Adam Jones ask:

"How is it? Has the intracranial hematoma dispersed?"

"The preliminary examination looks good, but to reach a conclusion, we’ll need another CT scan of the brain."

Jas Churchill replied, noticing Adam Jones’s face filled with undisguised fatigue, bloodshot eyes, and unshaven stubble, indicating he hadn’t had a good night.

Out of sympathy, Jas Churchill added, "Don’t worry, Elly’s current condition isn’t too serious. It probably hasn’t reached the stage where surgery is necessary to remove the hematoma. She might even wake up today."

Hearing Jas Churchill’s words, Adam Jones genuinely relaxed a little, surprisingly showing a rare good expression toward this forr rival in love, "Thank you."

What finally set Adam Jones at ease was the result of Elly Campbell’s brain CT, confirming that the intracranial hematoma had indeed dispersed.

However, the exact timing of her waking up remained unclear, with Jas Churchill only providing an approximate ti.

"Adam, since the doctor says Elly is fine, you should go ho and sleep for a while. I’ll watch over her here, and I’ll inform you if she wakes up."

Although Jenna Clark hadn’t stayed at the hospital all night, she also barely slept, arriving at the hospital early as it opened.

"Mom, I’m not really tired. I just want to stay with Elly. Have you had breakfast? Why don’t you and Professor Ford go have so breakfast first? I’ll let you know when Elly wakes up."

Jenna Clark still wanted to persuade him but was stopped by Jamuna Ford.

"Let Adam stay. The first person Elly will want to see when she wakes up is definitely him."

As he spoke, he signaled slightly to Jenna Clark, who nodded and said to Adam Jones:

"Alright then, I’ll bring you back so breakfast later."

Although Adam Jones had little appetite, he nodded, "Okay, thank you, Mom."

Leaving the ward, Jenna Clark’s face couldn’t hide her worry.

"Robert Green said Adam flew back from France, didn’t sleep for over ten hours the whole way, and yesterday stayed here all night. I’m really worried that if Elly doesn’t wake up, he’ll collapse."

Jamuna Ford turned his head to look at her.

Even though she was close to 50, her well-maintained face still couldn’t hide her captivating beauty.

At this mont, however, under this beautiful appearance lay an unmistakable fatigue and worry, making her look quite haggard.

Even though Jenna had agreed to give it a try with him, their behavior still kept a respectful distance born out of mutual affection.

Except for occasionally holding hands or Jenna holding onto his arm at large banquets, they rarely had opportunities to even hold hands.
