So the eldest son took on the surna Campbell from Elly.
Finally, they settled on the na Luke Campbell.
When William heard soone calling him, he turned around. It was the pretty grandma who had joined the cafeteria last year.
The pretty grandma was especially nice to William. She always gave him extra of his favorite dishes.
"Grandpa Thompson."
William sweetly called out to her, ignoring the little worm, and got up to trot over to Grandpa Thompson.
"Look at you, your little face is all dirty. When your daddy and mommy co to pick you up and see how dirty you are, they won’t like you anymore."
William wasn’t pleased when he heard this and imdiately retorted:
"No way, Daddy and Mommy like William the most."
"Well, that’s not necessarily true. Now you have a little brother, and Daddy and Mommy like him the most. I’ve seen many people do the sa. Once they have younger siblings, Daddy and Mommy don’t like the first child anymore."
When William heard Grandpa Thompson say this, a hint of panic appeared in his eyes.
After all, he’s just a kid, and being scared like this made his eyes turn red.
He loves Daddy and Mommy the most. What if they don’t like William anymore?
Thinking about it made golden teardrops start to fall from William’s eyes.
"No way, Daddy and Mommy won’t stop liking William. William is so good, even better than my brother, boo hoo hoo~~~"
Though he said this out loud, in his heart, he had already started to believe Grandpa Thompson’s words, crying more fiercely.
"You don’t believe Grandpa Thompson?"
Grandpa Thompson pulled William into a corner and whispered:
"Look, the other kids take their father’s last na, and only you take your mother’s last na. That’s because your daddy doesn’t like you. That’s why he doesn’t want you to take the Jones last na. Your mommy listens to your daddy the most. If your daddy doesn’t like you, your mommy won’t like you in the future either."
William thought about how the kids in his class all had their father’s last nas, and his Daddy and Mommy nad his brother William Jones, and his brother has the Jones last na. Daddy must like his brother more to give him the sa last na.
Grandpa Thompson must be right. Daddy and Mommy really like his brother more and not him, boo hoo hoo~~~
Although William was sure of this in his heart, he still cried out loud:
"You’re lying. Daddy likes William. Daddy praises William every day, saying he’s even better than my brother. Mommy kisses William every day. They won’t stop liking William, boo hoo hoo~~~"
It was close to the end of the school day, and since many of the children’s parents hadn’t arrived to pick them up, the kids played on the playground.
Amid the laughter and shouting of the kids, and since Grandpa Thompson had taken William to a corner, no one noticed what was happening with him.
Seeing him cry desperately, a cold smile flashed in Grandpa Thompson’s eyes.
Then, rolling his eyes, he said:
"If you don’t believe , let’s play a ga. This ga will prove whether Daddy and Mommy love William."
William’s crying stopped suddenly, and with teary eyes, he looked at Grandpa Thompson and sobbingly asked:
"What ga?"
Grandpa Thompson lowered his voice, leaned closer to William, and said:
"Now Grandpa Thompson will take you out to play. When Daddy and Mommy co to pick you up and find out William is missing, if they co looking for you, it ans they love you. But if they don’t co looking, it ans they really don’t want you anymore."
