At this mont, urgent footsteps ca from the study’s outside, approaching rapidly, followed by a series of incessant knocks pounding on the door.
"Harry Hall, open the door for !"
Leanne Richards’ voice, filled with rage, sounded from outside.
Harry Hall frowned impatiently and stood up to open the study door.
Leanne’s sharp finger pointed at him, her face filled with hatred as she asked, "I ask you, is your uncle’s company’s trouble caused by you?"
Harry t her angry face with indifferent eyes and said calmly, "Yes."
"Harry Hall!!!"
Leanne scread, her hysterical voice startling the busy servants downstairs.
Yet Harry Hall before her remained completely unmoved, his eyes devoid of any emotion as he looked at her.
"That’s your own uncle!"
"What’s my own uncle got to do with ?"
Harry’s eyes showed not the slightest ripple.
The relationship of his own uncle, in his eyes, was no different from ordinary people.
"You... Harry Hall... you... are you trying to drive to my grave?"
Harry looked at her nonchalantly, showing no trace of emotion, and said:
"You’re driving yourself to the grave, not ."
Leanne was trembling with anger. As a "sister-obsessed," her brother was much more important than her son Harry Hall.
Now, with her brother being tornted by her son like this, how could she stay calm?
But what can she do if she’s not calm?
This son does not care about her life or death; yelling at him won’t change anything.
For the sake of her brother, even though she hated her son’s behavior, she could only speak rationally with him.
"Why did you do this? This past month, have I done anything to that vixen... that Helen lendy?"
She deliberately avoided ntioning the incident where she humiliated Helen at Hillside Villa today, looking at Harry with a strong sense of questioning.
"You didn’t do anything, just wanted to give mom a reminder, after all, only a deep enough reminder will ensure you rember, right?"
Harry’s thin lips slowly curled up.
In Leanne’s view, this was not her son, rather a demon, a demon wanting to consu her.
"If there’s nothing else, leave now, I have many things to attend to."
Faced with Leanne’s distorted face of anger, his expression remained unchanged, as he directly started to close the door.
Seeing herself co aggressively only to receive no answers and being driven away by her son, how could Leanne be satisfied?
She reached out to stop Harry’s action of closing the door, reluctantly softened her tone, biting the back of her teeth as she spoke:
"Is your reminder enough this ti? When will you stop?"
"This should be asked to mom, do you think it’s enough?"
Leanne stared at Harry, who seed gentle, but his eyes were more resolute than anyone, and her heart ached with anger.
What kind of son had she borne!!!
Even in her reluctance, she now relied on this son to hold her head high, she could only grudgingly bite her teeth and say:
"Enough! More than enough!"
"That’s good."
Harry curled the edges of his lips, then shut the study door, leaving Leanne outside.
