Harry Hall started chatting with her about their student days, talking on and off.

“Didn’t you usually not like to talk much, senior?”

I see you’re quite talkative now.

Helen lendy comnted in her heart.

However, since student days were so wonderful, she didn’t mind talking about this, it’s better than discussing so ambiguous topics.

Harry Hall paused his eating, raised an eyebrow at her, and smiled, “Really?”

“Yeah. I once thought soone with a personality like yours, where less is more, would easily lose their job as a lawyer.”

It wasn’t until she personally watched a few of the debate competitions organized by their departnt that she realized he was quite talkative professionally; he just didn’t want to waste words on irrelevant people.

So, during the days after she regained consciousness, as she gradually beca familiar with Harry Hall, she found that in private, this person spoke quite a bit, so perhaps the cool and distant deanor was just an act.

Harry Hall was amused by her remark and said:

“You’ve said that before.”

“Really?”

Helen lendy naturally couldn’t rember.

“You even said, if I lost my job, you’d earn money to support .”

Helen lendy: “…”

He said this so earnestly, but why did it sound so flirtatious to her?

Helen lendy shook her head internally, refusing to think about it.

“Impossible.”

“Why not?”

Harry Hall didn’t mind her deliberate avoidance and spoke to her as if they were just ordinary friends.

“I’m stingy, more like you support .”

After saying that, she was montarily stunned.

Of course, she considered herself quite poor, while Harry Hall was rich, and wouldn’t need her support even if unemployed.

But once she said it, the aning felt a bit different.

She was thinking about how to retract her statent when Harry Hall replied softly, “Okay.”

His tone sounded very casual, not deliberate, and not flirtatious, but it made Helen lendy’s heart race slightly.

She thought she better keep quiet, the more she talked, the more ambiguous it felt.

For a brief mont, the atmosphere between them was silent, with only their very faint eating sounds.

Harry Hall’s eating movents were incredibly graceful, reflecting the manners of a young master from a wealthy family, yet he did not eat slowly.

When he finished eating, Helen lendy had not yet finished.

He sat quietly beside her, watching her with a gentle gaze, and his eyes couldn’t help but reveal a tinge of indulgence.

Helen lendy sensed it but dared not et his gaze, quickening her eating pace.

“I’m done eating.”

She put down her chopsticks, her eyes fixed on the table in front of her, unable to look at Harry Hall.

Harry Hall seed calm and relaxed, smiling as he asked, “Finished eating?”

“Yes, I’m full.”

“Okay, then I’ll clean up.”

Harry Hall stood up, expertly gathering the dishes on the table, as if he frequently did this, cleaning up with ease, leaving Helen lendy quite amazed.

This young master who has servants at ho and a driver when going out, why did he seem so adept at housework?

In a blink, Harry Hall had tidied the dining table spotlessly.

After placing the dishes in the dishwasher, when he ca out of the kitchen, Helen lendy was still sitting in her wheelchair, looking at him with a sowhat surprised expression.

“What’s wrong?”

Harry Hall asked.

“You seem very skilled at this kind of work.”

Harry Hall was montarily taken aback, then nodded, “Yeah, I don’t like having others handle my personal affairs.”
