Chapter 1428: 1428. William Hall’s Calculations
He’s in a rush to make a move on Elly Campbell now, and for sure he won’t let Helen off the hook.
Harry Hall’s expression is somber at this mont, and after a brief pause, he scoffs coldly: “Just over sixty and in such a hurry to court death, why bother?”
“Have you thought about how you’re going to handle it?”
Adam Jones looks at him, sees a touch of sinister in his eyes, and nods in agreent.
“How you’re going to proceed is not my place to ask, but just a reminder—don’t underestimate your younger brother.”
Harry Hall looks up at him, and Adam continues: “Your brother isn’t as simple as he seems on the surface. Be careful, don’t focus all your attention on your father and overlook him.”
Harry Hall is aware of the fact that Leo Hall saved Elly Campbell from under the truck and the investigation results clearly indicate that the accident was orchestrated by William Hall.
The purpose, of course, is to pave the way for Leo Hall to take over the Hall Clan.
Leo Hall’s rescue of Elly Campbell is indeed difficult to explain.
“What do you think, what exactly is that kid Leo Hall up to?”
This turn of events has completely disrupted the original plan of William Hall.
With regard to timing, location, or human coordination, William Hall wouldn’t be able to execute such a seamless plan the next day.

Upon hearing this, Adam just glances at him with an indifferent expression and remains silent.
Harry Hall, of course, is joking.
With the friendship between him and Adam Jones since childhood, Adam wouldn’t do that; besides, Harry Hall isn’t soone who can easily be manipulated.

Harry Hall nods his head, leans back lazily on the sofa behind him, and says, “Lately, my father has been actively selling off company stocks and has made other investnts in the na of Mia Brown; he doesn’t hold many shares of the Hall Clan in his hands anymore.”

That’s probably another reason why he’s so eager to deal with Adam Jones.
The death of Elly Campbell would surely be a fatal blow to him.

“Based on my understanding of his modus operandi, if he had succeeded in killing Elly Campbell to strike at you, he would’ve recklessly started suppressing the Hall Clan from behind, causing the share price of the Hall Clan to plumt. If I’m unable to revive the Hall Clan, he would then buy the shares at a low price in the na of that mother and daughter. In doing so, he not only makes a big profit, but more importantly, he would have kicked out of the Hall Clan and made room for his illegitimate son.”
