Although Green did not know why Adam suddenly changed his expression and left without a word, he knew that it must be related to the ongoing divorce saga with the president’s wife whenever such a controlled man lost his composure.
“Don’t worry, General Storm. President Jones has stepped out to handle a private matter,” he assured.
At this mont, Adam’s heartbeat was racing, showing signs of getting out of control. Though his steps appeared poised and calm, they were in fact sowhat erratic.
