Chapter 1345: 1345. Take you to cool down your temper
Ethan White’s eyes opened just in ti, eting her furious gaze, and he chuckled lightly, saying:
“You’ve been quite fiery lately. I brought you to the icy tundra to cool down.”
“You…”
The plane had already landed on the open ground of Antarctica.
This ti, aside from the pilot, only she and Ethan White were the passengers to Antarctica.
Seeing Ethan White opening two large suitcases that had been prepared earlier and taking out the thermal equipnt, he placed them in front of Elly Campbell, soothing her with a smile:
“Since we’re here, let’s go out and have a look.”
Elly Campbell looked at him coldly, unmoved.
Ethan White didn’t rush her, but instead said:
“I plan to stay here for at least half a month. Do you really intend to just sit inside the plane and not co out?”
In the end, Elly Campbell changed into the clothes and exited the cabin.
Not far away, nestled between several icebergs, was a docked, ga luxury anti-disease exploration ship.
By the ti Ethan White arrived, soone had already co down from the ship and sent over a small yacht to pick them up.
“Get on. Go take a bath and get so good rest.”
Elly Campbell didn’t say a word, her face stern as she boarded the yacht and sailed toward the exploration ship.
To call it a ship is an understatent; it’s more apt to describe it as a seven-star luxury hotel.
With a 180° panoramic lounge, complete with a private bathroom, luxurious and bright dining room, sauna, and so on.
Standing on the open deck, one can witness a spectacular scene of large pods of whales feeding up close.
Looking up, occasionally, very rare polar seabirds would glide overhead.
Directly ahead on the ice, seals were foraging for food, and on the other side, baby penguins closely followed their mothers, appearing very intimate.
Elly Campbell, viewing the scene before her, couldn’t help but think of the ti before the accident when her island master, Jack Campbell, had ntioned that they would take a vacation to Antarctica after celebrating their child’s first birthday.
He had planned to accompany her to admire the breathtaking auroras of Antarctica, paddle together in a kayak, and take the exploration ship deep into the icebergs to feel the rare polar scenery.
They had even finished planning the trip, but just as they were about to…
Thinking of Adam Jones, Elly Campbell’s eyes instantly reddened, but she quickly reined in her emotions, not wanting Ethan White to see and get teased by him.
If these beautiful sights were to be shared with her lover, her child, then naturally she wouldn’t be able to resist admiring them. It’s a pity that at this mont, she had no interest at all.
Unknown to her, whenever she was with Ethan White, his gaze would always linger on her when she wasn’t looking.
From the mont she boarded the exploration ship, Ethan White had noticed the changes in her mood and her eyes suddenly reddening and then quickly being suppressed.
Ethan White’s eyes darkened slightly, knowing she must have been thinking of Adam Jones.
He didn’t say anything, just took her to the lounge.
Heading to the liquor cabinet, Ethan White poured her a glass of Whiskey, then chipped off a few pieces of ice from a large block brought by a server and put them into the drink. He handed it to Elly Campbell, saying:
“Try this whiskey imbued with millennia-old ice.”
Elly Campbell glanced at his hand and said coldly, “I don’t drink.”
Ethan White didn’t say anything, just looked at her faintly, the smile on his face gradually fading, but the extended glass of whiskey remained outstretched.
Elly Campbell felt that Ethan White like this was sowhat frightening.
Rembering how he took his anger out on the servants because she ran away, making them hang off the exterior wall for a night, a behavior reflective of his obsessive and pathological nature, and thinking that now it was just the two of them, with the ship’s servers being his people, she decided it was better not to provoke him.
