Chapter 662: Chapter 659: She Takes the Initiative to Seek Help from Fu Yunshen

Wen Yuci was very clear that once she fell into Fu Ziyuan’s hands, she would be truly dood tonight!

The effects of the drug had already started to kick in, and not only was her body feverish, but it also felt sore and weak.

In Wen Yuci’s bedroom was a small balcony, by which stood a large tree. When she was a child, to escape the pressure from her parents, she would often climb up and down this very tree.

Wen Yuci took a deep breath, climbed onto the tree, and then carefully descended it.

Perhaps due to her weakness, she fell halfway down.

Her delicate white arms were scraped, but she ignored the pain, got up from the ground, and ran quickly towards the small back gate.

Fu Ziyuan had already arrived.

Mother Wen, smiling broadly, opened the car door for him, “Ziyuan, you’re here. Cici has been waiting in her bedroom.”

A smile curled on Fu Ziyuan’s lips, a hint of chilling intent flashing in his eyes.

Tonight, he would finally have Wen Yuci.

This was the woman he had admired since his teens, the one he always wanted to possess!

After all these years, his love for her had faded considerably.

He was simply unwilling to let go.

Even by unscrupulous ans, he was determined to have her.

“Aunt Wen, rest assured, once I have Yuci, I will take good care of her,” he said.

Mother Wen nodded, “I believe you.”

Fu Ziyuan couldn’t wait to have Wen Yuci, and he strode towards the upstairs.

Mother Wen handed the key to Fu Ziyuan, who unlocked and opened the door.

He looked into the room and—

Wen Yuci was nowhere to be found.

Mother Wen was also taken aback, “Cici drank that soup, she must be inside, maybe in the shower room?”

Fu Ziyuan walked briskly to the shower room and upon opening the door, again saw no sign of Wen Yuci.

“Cici? Cici?” Mother Wen called out a few tis.

No one answered.

Fu Ziyuan saw that the balcony door connected to the bedroom was open. He walked over to take a look.

His expression instantly darkened, and without paying any attention to Mother Wen who had followed him, he ran downstairs.

Given Wen Yuci’s condition, she shouldn’t have gotten very far.

Indeed, Wen Yuci had not gone far. Anticipating that Fu Ziyuan would pursue her, she hid behind so bushes by the roadside.

As expected, it wasn’t long before she saw Fu Ziyuan driving out to search for her.

Fu Ziyuan didn’t drive far, constantly searching back and forth along the road.

Wen Yuci’s heart was in her throat.

Her fingers trembling, she took out her phone, ready to call Ming Yao, when suddenly a call ca in.

Accidentally, she pressed the answer button.

“Cici, aren’t you at the apartnt?” Fu Yunshen’s voice ca through.

Wen Yuci clung to it like a lifeline, “Fu Yunshen, I’m by the roadside near the Wen Residence. My mom drugged , and Fu Ziyuan is looking for . Hurry up and save !”

The man on the other end of the phone’s breathing grew heavier, “Okay, I’m on my way!”

Just after Wen Yuci finished speaking, she looked up and t a pair of crimson and sinister eyes.

Fu Ziyuan had found her.

The blood in Wen Yuci’s body seed to freeze in an instant.

She swallowed, her long eyelashes trembling like the wings of an injured butterfly.

Fu Ziyuan smiled coldly, “Cici, do you really not want to see that much?”

Wen Yuci tried to stand up and leave, but she could not muster any strength at all.

The effects of the drug had taken full hold.

Fu Ziyuan approached her leisurely, like he was looking at prey that had fallen into his trap and was struggling in its last monts.
