Chapter 64: Chapter 64: Asura Field (1)
Ming Yao paid no attention to the chattering Jing Hang, busy applying makeup on her own.
After finishing, she took a gray coat out of her bag and put it on.
Jing Hang knew of Ming Yao’s makeup skills; seeing her transford into a completely different person, he couldn’t help but exclaim, “Your husband must have sothing wrong with his brain. He has a stunning and charming wife but feels no attraction whatsoever.”
Although he only thought of his senior sister as his own sister, occasionally, when faced with her striking beauty, he would also feel his face flush and his heart race.
Ming Yao scoffed lightly, “You think he’s as shallow as you are? He appreciates substance.”
Jing Hang touched his nose, “Senior sister, that’s not kind of you. You’re actually defending your nominal husband and belittling your junior brother.”
“You said it yourself; he’s my husband.”
Jing Hang, “…” He had nothing to say in response.
The sports car drove to the entrance of the Tube Building alleyway, where Ming Yao couldn’t refuse Jing Hang’s enthusiasm and had to let him escort her in.
Ming Yao planned to leave so things before returning to the Imperial Garden.
She had to get back before Gu Siting did.
However, if he was attending a dinner party, he probably wouldn’t return too early.
After leaving her things in the rented room, Ming Yao and Jing Hang ca down from upstairs.
The two of them stood at the bottom of the building; Ming Yao told Jing Hang not to contact her recently. Jing Hang was sowhat reluctant, but just as Ming Yao was about to hail a taxi to leave, he hugged her again.
To her, a senior sister was as dear as a family mber.
Even now, Jing Hang felt as if he were in a dream.
Ming Yao felt a warm sensation on her neck; her silly junior brother was actually crying.
She couldn’t help but sigh, patting Jing Hang on the back, “Alright, alright, heaven has been kind to your senior sister, letting her live again. So stop crying.”
As soon as Ming Yao finished speaking, she sensed sothing was off.
Behind her, there seed to be a penetrating gaze she couldn’t ignore, fixed upon her.
This gaze, sharp and piercingly cold, made her feel like there were thorns at her back.
Ming Yao instantly beca alert, realizing sothing was wrong; she pushed Jing Hang away.
Turning around, she looked towards the source of danger.
She saw a tall, erect, stern figure stepping out from the shadows.
The man’s sculpturally handso face gradually ca into Ming Yao’s view.
Ming Yao’s heart involuntarily skipped a beat.
Her brows knitted tightly.
Why was Tyrant Gu at the bottom of the Tube Building?
Wasn’t he supposed to be at an important dinner?
Ming Yao was always calm and collected in the face of events, but at that mont, she couldn’t help feeling nervous and flustered.
It seed like no more than Asura Field!
Fortunately, she had applied her makeup in the car and still looked like the Little Maid.
Taking a deep breath, Ming Yao tried to steady her agitated emotions.
Gu Siting approached Ming Yao with an icy expression and said coldly, “Is this the reason your phone was turned off?” His dark eyes scanned Jing Hang, who was standing behind Ming Yao.
Jing Hang looked fashionable and trendy, a completely different type from the Little Maid.
That these two could get together was indeed impressive to Gu Siting.
Ming Yao lowered her eyes and instantly returned to the timid state of the Little Maid.
“Fourth Master, my phone was accidentally turned off. I didn’t know Aunt Zhong tried to call several tis. I’m sorry for worrying you all,” she said.
Gu Siting’s expression was icy as his narrow, black eyes shifted between Ming Yao and Jing Hang.
Jing Hang t Gu Siting’s gaze and couldn’t help but curse inwardly.
He had thought that Senior Brother was the most handso and charismatic person in the world, but he hadn’t expected his senior sister’s husband-in-na to be so stunning and imposing as well!
Yet, he seed too cold and aloof.
Didn’t he notice how frightened his senior sister was?
“Who is he to you?” Gu Siting asked in a deep voice.
