Gu Zhi was surprised to see him here but didn’t ask. She politely poured him a glass of water—

The always attentive Qin Family brothers did not want to move at this mont.

Qi Hanyu’s gaze fell on her, and he explained softly, "It was your mom and dad who invited ."

Gu Zhi nodded in surprise, but she could imagine it. When they were abroad, Father Qin and Mrs. Qin had ntioned inviting him to dinner to thank him for helping on the show.

She politely asked, "What kind of food do you like? I’ll let my mom know, they can probably make it."

Qi Hanyu held the cup, and a smile almost escaped from his lips, "I like whatever you like."

Gu Zhi: "..."

Qin Zheng noticed they were talking and imdiately got restless, quickly squeezed between them, and started to make small talk:

"Does Emperor Qi like playing gas? How good are you?"

Qi Hanyu’s mouth twitched, and he answered truthfully, "Never played."

"How can that be? Zhi Zhi loves playing gas the most and is really good at it. She never plays with people who don’t know how." The implication being, if you can’t play gas, you’re not worthy of my sister.

Gu Zhi: "..." Are you sure I love playing gas the most?

Qin Zheng: "Co on, take out your phone. I’ll teach you a couple of rounds, guaranteed success!"

Qi Hanyu: "..."

In the end, under Qin Zheng’s "coercion," Qi Hanyu had no choice but to download the ga on the spot, register an account, and played two rounds with him.

It was indeed his first ti playing such a mobile ga. He couldn’t learn quickly; he was either being attacked by Qin Zheng or on the verge of being attacked.

Until Qin Ji couldn’t stand it any longer, he couldn’t help but kick Qin Zheng to make him ease up. Qin Zheng reluctantly backed off.

anwhile, Father Qin and Mrs. Qin quickly prepared a large dinner, still sumptuous and appetizing.

They brought out wine sent by the last program crew and their homade bayberry wine to entertain Qi Hanyu.

Under Mrs. Qin’s hospitality, Qi Hanyu tasted a bit, and it was indeed good. It was no worse than the red wine from vineyards; no wonder netizens craved Mrs. Qin’s skills.

"Xiao Yu, don’t be polite, eat as you like. We have nothing else to offer, just so simple ho-cooked food."

Qi Hanyu nodded. This was already enough; he had had delicacies of every kind. He preferred the Qin Family’s atmosphere, a family sitting together eating, chatting, sipping a bit, sothing he’d never experienced before.

His eyes inadvertently lifted to glance at Gu Zhi across the table. The light cast on his face softened his expression.

She quietly focused on eating, barely needing to lift a finger: Soone added food to her bowl when it was empty, refilled her drink when it was finished, and even the fish bones were handed to her already picked out.

She really was... not soone you’d guess to be pampered like this.

Qin Ji inadvertently t his gaze, and almost reflexively grabbed a crab leg to place in his bowl, interrupting him: "Mr. Qi, eat more. Don’t be shy."

Qi Hanyu: "..."

After dinner, they talked about serious matters. Qin Ji took out the addresses of the chosen restaurants for Gu Zhi to see, having even personally checked them out and taken photos.

"These are the places I picked. The storefronts aren’t big but clean, close to ho. If mom and dad really want to open a store, they can choose one of these places. What do you think, Zhi Zhi?"

He didn’t originally support Father Qin and Mrs. Qin opening a store, hoping they’d simply enjoy life henceforth.

But they’d been busy all their lives and couldn’t stay idle. They’d always dread of opening a store.

Qin Ji agreed to let them try once; it didn’t have to be a permanent venture.

Gu Zhi glanced over them but couldn’t decide; the storefronts were about the sa in the area with similar foot traffic and rent. She said lightly, "Any of them is fine. Let mom and dad pick whichever they like. It doesn’t need to be big, nor too crowded; otherwise, it’d be overwhelming and prone to problems. Just control the costs well."

Mrs. Qin nodded, "That’s what I think too. Your dad and I don’t want to do much or make big money, and we don’t plan to set high prices for the dishes; just not losing money is good."

Zhi Zhi is a star. If they set the dish prices too high, they might cause trouble for her. Compared to saying they’re riding on Zhi Zhi’s popularity, exploiting her fans would not be good.

Gu Zhi nodded in agreent. Qin Ji didn’t say anything; he picked one from the addresses, "This one is also close to Zhi Zhi, so let’s choose this one. When there’s ti, I’ll take you to see it.

Father Qin and Mrs. Qin nodded happily. They finally got to experience being store owners; Mrs. Qin was extrely happy.

Qin Zheng said, "I’m about to start closed training with the crew and won’t be of much help, just leaving it to big brother. If anything happens, just let know."

Qin Ji nodded. As the oldest in the family, it was his responsibility to take care of these things, from securing the store to choosing the decor style, store na, and the restaurant’s positioning.

Gu Zhi was also roped into the discussion, and she made the final decision, except for the store na which was decided after several rounds of discussion. Should it be called Qin Ma Restaurant, Qin Family Restaurant, or Qin Ji Restaurant?

They ultimately decided they could take their ti thinking about the na, as the store hadn’t even been renovated yet, so no rush for a na.

Gu Zhi had just finished speaking and turned to look for a cup, but a cup was already handed to her by soone. Qi Hanyu looked down at her, "Just poured it, it’s a bit hot, be careful."

Gu Zhi nodded, smiling helplessly. Right now, Qin Zheng and the others were all getting water, otherwise, if they saw this scene, they might explode.

Qi Hanyu finally found a chance to chat with her, and he rembered sothing and asked: "How much progress is left on your side’s shoot? Tang Jin seems to be planning to join the crew early next month, and the crew’s preparations are complete. After joining, there will be a few days of basic knowledge learning."

Tang Jin’s production team is always rigorous, requiring actors to train for a while before officially starting.

Gu Zhi thought for a mont, not having any objection. Her current movie wasn’t long, and since she shot quickly, over a month would suffice. However, her schedule was tight, as Director Zhang’s project also wanted to expedite filming, supposedly to compete with Tang Jin’s schedule. They didn’t even mind her filming two movies at once!

The two have been competing for half their lifeti, with two directors butting heads, and she’s the one caught in between.

She pursed her lips and said, "I should be able to finish by early next month. I’ll have Dai Qian keep an eye on it by then."

Qi Hanyu nodded, "Alright, let them schedule according to your ti."

After he finished speaking, he glanced at the ti and asked casually, "It’s nine o’clock, do you want to go back?"

Gu Zhi: "..."

Before she could say anything, Qin Zheng heard and quickly ca over, watching the two warily.

Go ho!? Go where exactly?!!
