Chapter 66 - Conflict
Early next morning I greeted everyone and said," today I have to go out of the base and by tomorrow I will return", saying so I headed out of the manor with Lucy.
I ca near the gate and saw it was more crowded, seeing the crowd I asked the guard," hello sir what has happened, as it is too crowded".
Hearing my words the guard looked around and found no one, then he looked down and saw . I asked again," hello sir, why is the gate crowded?".
Hearing my words the guard answered," boy you don't know, now the travellers are mostly from base 1, so it's generally crowded".
Hearing his answer I gradually realised that many people might have co for their level upgrade, so I nodded my head in understanding.
As I was walking out of the door, I saw the son of the base 2 rulers was walking with few girls. They were dressed nicely and I used my eye crystal to check on them and found they were all level 30. So one of the girls looked at the mice on my shoulders and said," so cute".
I looked at them and ignored and walked on my way towards. But I was stopped next.
The base 2 son whose na was John said," you over there stop for ".
I ignored him and kept on walking towards my way.
But next as I was outside the base, the guards ca near and said," boy, you know you are outside the base alone, so listen to our master obediently or else no one will co and help you".
I looked at the guard and asked," Do I know you and who is your young master".
The guard looked at with contempt and said," can't you see, the person who stopped you was our young master".
I looked at the guard playfully and asked," so what if your young master asked you to stop , why should I listen to him", saying so I looked at the guard, while he looked at speechless and said," don't you know by following you master you can get gold coins".
"Really how many gold coins can your master provide with by following him", I asked.
Hearing my words, the guard looked at with a disgusting expression and said," for your ti I can pay you gold coins, which should be enough for you".
While Jhon had an arrogant expression and the girls worshipped, except for one girl who had covered her face with a white cloth, giving a little mysterious feeling. John was also trying to capture the girl's attention but she didn't show any reaction which made John sowhat angry so he looked towards and said, "boy I want the mice on your shoulder, give a deal and I will buy it".
Hearing his words my eyes beca gradually cold and then the murderous aura was radiated from my body, that instantly surrounded Jhon and those girls. For so ti they saw that they were inside a red place where everywhere was a monster dead body and I was sitting on top of the dead bodies and looking coldly towards them.
Now Jhon was trembling and gradually he started sweating profusely. The guards were the sa. The girl with the mysterious veil looked at with a little surprised expression.
"Do you still want to buy my partner", I asked with a cold voice that had no emotion.
Hearing my voice there was a chill in their hearts, even the girl was feeling a chill and the thought that ca into their mind was that as long as they said yes, they will die.
Jhon was so scared that he couldn't even say a word, finally, the girl who had covered her face with clothes answered," we don't want the mice, you can go".
I looked at the girl and said," calling is easy, but making leave is a little hard, so what is the price do you want to offer for your life", the sentences were said as I had no feeling towards them, if their words didn't satisfy then I would kill them.
Hearing my words the girl said," Here are hundred diamond coins, I hope you can let us go".
I looked at the diamond coins and looked at them with contempt and said," Lucy see soone is treating you as a beggar, show them the money you have".
Lucy understood my aning and then she took out the small pouch then gradually took out a platinum coin, that I had given her before and she showed it to them.

She was not from base 2 but base 4, she ca by family instructions to find the person who cleared the forbidden zone 1 so when she reached base 2 with her guard, she tried to find the information. But all the news she got was the person was wearing a cloak and so he was not recognised only the girl who joined them, only her poster was printed. So this made her even more frustrated so she decided to head and ask the base 2 leaders to help her. The leader of the base readily agreed and he hinted at his son.
So now she ca out with John, but who knew that this idiot had to provoke soone who shouldn't be. She then showed so gesture and a guard appeared and then looked at coldly and tried to find my status but his eye crystal was of purple grade so all he got was questions mark. Seeing this he looked at and said," hey boy our lady was not involved, so what you want to do you can do with them".
I looked at the guard and said," of course, but again your lady was in their group so pay the ransom and I will let your lady go".
Finally, the guard took out fifty platinum coin and handed to , seeing this I said," Hey Lucy what are you waiting for, soone gave us money hurry up and put the money away".
Hearing my words Lucy stored the money in the pouch and then I said," Hey, this ti I let you go, but next ti it will not be as simple as this".
Then I looked at Jhon and I instantly ca behind him and had already placed my dagger on his neck and slowly slid it to cut only his skin. Then I said," tell all the mbers in base 2 to co to the manor, as we will be selling things", saying so I removed the dagger from his neck.
John asked," which manor".
I said," There is only one manor in base 2, are you so scared that you even forgot that".
Hearing my words John ca to his sense and said, "I know, I know, I will send an invitation to everyone".
I nodded and then went towards the cave.
