Chapter 43 - New Partner Lucy
"Big brother are you not going to sign the contract with it", comnted Drake.
I looked at the carefree mouse looking at and waiting for my answer. I then looked at the mouse and said," no need, it's cute and needs to be free, so I will not sign the contract and you can only sign a contract with one beast which also requires min. lv.45", while Drake nodded after hearing my words.
Lucy looked at and then went towards my palm, I thought she was going to ask for food, so as I was going to take out the food from my space bag when Lucy bit my fingers and a bright white light surrounded us, seeing this scene I shocked and nervous.
Then I heard a voice in my mind," you bad guy, don't even know to give na nicely".
I said," who is talking co out or else I will try one of my shaless techniques, and I am sure you will not like it".
Drake was also stunned by the red light and he was sure for a mont he saw the fantom of a white dragon, but it vanished as if appearing as an illusion, so Drake also shook his head. But when he heard my voice, Drake moved away from as if not knowing .
Lucy looked at with a thoughtful look, then her eyes glowed a little bit as if seeing the sa type of person.
I heard the voice again," hey where are you looking, I am sitting on your shoulder and don't shout, it made my ears burst".
Hearing the voice in my mind again I was freaked out, then I heard the voice saying I am sitting on your shoulder, so I looked and saw Lucy sitting and thought how can a rat talk.
While Lucy said," hey bad guy don't think stupid things, who said rat cannot talk".
I was not nervous anymore hearing Lucy last sentence and said," yes why can't rat talk, hmm Lucy how can your voice be heard inside my mind".
While Drake looked at and thought big brother spirit is hit, it started talking with a rat.
"This lady has signed a contract with you, so now I beca your contracted partner, hmm so we need to celebrate with so foods", said Lucy.
I said," okay we will celebrate later, but first answer so of my questions".
"Why can I hear your voice in my mind", I asked.
"As the contract, I signed with you willingly so", she answered and said," you can ask anything inside your mind and I will hear your thoughts".
I nodded and tried to speak her with my mind only, and soon I beca proficient in communicating with Lucy. Then I also learnt that the words that I speak will only be heard, so it relieved a lot as I don't want my secrets to be known.
Then I asked," who locked you inside the cage".
"I was sleeping and when I woke up I was inside the cage", answered Lucy nonchalantly.
I had several black lines on my forehead. Then once again I asked, "How many days before you woke up".
Lucy said," One week before".
I asked," what food did you eat".
Lucy said," there were so eggshells present and I could only eat then".
"The last question, why does your body look like a small white dragon inside my head", I asked in my mind.
"Cause I am a white dragon", answered Lucy.
" Then why do you look like a mouse", I asked.
" I have used transformation magic, to hide my breath and body shape as you know the dragon are precious, both its body and blood so", Lucy answered.
I then said," okay I understand, I will protect you when you grow up, we will beco invincible".
Lucy added," Then we will loot all those gold, diamond and shiny treasure will beco my treasure".
I looked at her as my long lost friend and said," you must have t earlier", and added," let's thank god seriously for making us et together".
Then a man and a mouse closed their eyes at the sa ti and thanked God seriously and Drake looked at the big brother and mouse doing the action he felt a little afraid. He thought to have a big brother t with soone, whom he shouldn't et as now he looks completely different, like a robber who is hungry for money.
Then I looked at Lucy and said," since we have first established our team, so do you have a space bag where you can store items".
Lucy took out a pouch which appeared out of nowhere and said," this pouch was left inside the cage, and fused with when I woke up".
I nodded my head and used my crystal eye to identify the pouch.
POUCH (GRAY)
THIS POUCH IS MADE UP OF THE HIGHEST GRADE SPACE BEAST LEATHER. DUE TO THE PASSAGE OF TI, IT HAS BECO A LOW-LEVEL SPACE BAG.
CAN BE UPGRADED.
Seeing the ssage I thought for a while and then took out a blue space bag, which I robbed before and placed near the pouch, soon the pouch radiated the light and absorbed the pouch and it beca its stats had changed.
POUCH (BLUE)
AFTER FUSING WITH UNCOMMON LEVEL ITEMS THE POUCH SPACE HAS INCREASED.
CAN BE UPGRADED.
Then once again I took out a space bag(orange) which again fused.
POUCH (ORANGE)
AFTER FUSING WITH ORANGE LEVEL ITEM THE POUCH SPACE HAS INCREASED.

CAN BE UPGRADED.
Then I handed the pouch to Lucy and said," this is one of the eting gifts, in future, there will be more gifts".
Lucy took and checked the pouch which was a hundred tis bigger than before, she was surprised and said," partner when we loot, we will divide the loot equally".
I nodded my head and said," okay partner".
So one man and one mouse(dragon) ford the strongest robbing party whose na will resound throughout the region in the future.
