Chapter 937: Encountering Evelyn
Xu Feng’s tone was decisive, and a clear indication that he didn’t want to remain any longer in the waiting room.
Carn didn’t bother to say anything and used action to show her stance. She got up and already exited the room.
Seeing that, Floral Witch could only smile bitterly in response.
“Do you need Azalea to be your tour guide? She knows Vermont City and could assist you.” She suggested.
“No need, Azalea has already been very helpful to us.” Xu Feng shook his head. “We have the slots, so the teleportation would be automatic once you authorize it. We can et again during the trial.”
After saying that, he walked out without waiting for a reply.
Once their presence could no longer be felt, Azalea clenched her fist and frowned.
“Isn’t he being very rude to you, boss?” Azalea was frustrated and annoyed by Xu Feng’s action. On the one hand, he appeared very amiable and approachable, but on the other hand, his actions and stance indicated the complete opposite.

Upon hearing that, Azalea’s eyes lit up. She was about to take her leave to make the move, but Floral Witch warned her solemnly.
“Make sure it’s trustworthy people who will spread the word. If Guild Leader Lin Feng figures out the source ca from , then you and everyone involved can forget about remaining in my branch.”
Needless to say, Floral Witch’s aning was that she would eliminate all those involved to clear her na and innocence.
Having been a subordinate of Floral Witch for a long ti, Azalea naturally understood the order of this one was extrely critical.

While this occurred, Xu Feng and Carn were already outside the street.
“Guild Leader, was it alright to leave this hastily?” Carn asked curiously.
Previously, she didn’t question or even flinch at his decision because she wanted to express her complete support to him.
But now that they were already away from the Cyclone Guild Residence, she couldn’t help herself but ask why he behaved in such a manner.
“If we don’t leave hastily, how could the others be wary of our eting?” Xu Feng chuckled and pinched her cheek. “Floral Witch appeared apologetic and innocent on the surface, but one can never know who they are until it’s too late.”
“Huh? Do you suspect that she was involved with the Malefic Order Guild?” Alard, Carn’s eyes turned cold.
“If she was involved, then did you think I would have continued the deal I made with her?”
“Hmm… you have a point.”
Carn was certain that Xu Feng wouldn’t have let her off easily if that was the case. Almost everyone knew that Xu Feng’s enemies had always received the short end of the stick no matter what once they had incurred his wrath.
“She might not be involved, but I’m certain she also didn’t try her best to suppress the incident.” Xu Feng continued. For soone like Floral Witch to beco the branch leader, it was impossible for her to be naive or innocent.
Even if she might have been initially, once a person sits in such a position for a prolonged ti, they are bound to change. He could say so confidently because the position had infected him as well.

However, the clue only confused her further.
At this point, Xu Feng facepald and explained that he was doing this to get revenge for her. Her Guild Commander was ambushed and killed, so how could he possibly let the other party off?
“I’m sure news of our eting with Floral Witch will be leaked, and those who targeted you in the past will begin to make so moves. Once they do, I’ll be able to investigate and counterattack.” He explained.
Only when their enemies continuously make a move could he find a flaw to take advantage of! More importantly, Xu Feng already had plans to expand the market to take control of the Northern Plane’s economy.
Realization quickly dawned upon Carn. Her heart ward up as she didn’t expect Xu Feng was actually still brooding over the incident. This was especially after she had repeatedly tried to convince him not to take revenge on her behalf.
Just when Carn was about to thank him, a voice suddenly ca from behind.
“Oh my, isn’t this the Vanguard Guild Leader Lin Feng?”
“Who?” Alard, Carn turned around, only to be startled by their appearance, or more specifically, the guild emblem on their chest: Malefic Order.
‘Evelyn.’ Xu Feng narrowed his eyes. He didn’t expect to encounter her in Vermont City.
