Chapter 933: Portal Stone
Upon being questioned, Azalea was about to respond when Veronica and Carn erged from the Town Hall.
“Guild Leader, I’ve brought her here because Azalea noticed my return and wished to compensate ,” Carn exclaid as she rushed to his side.
She then whispered, “This Azalea got so information regarding Malefic Order and even gave
quite the compensation package.”
When Xu Feng heard that, he knew what Carn was trying to do. She didn’t want him to misunderstand and believe Veronica was pushing his boundaries.
After all, Carn knew full well that there was sothing that Xu Feng absolutely forbade.
Hence, she took the lead to clear the misunderstanding to ensure there would be no ruined relationship.
Sure enough, Xu Feng chuckled in amusent and nodded. Since Carn had explained the matter, then he obviously wouldn’t fault anyone else.
Despite granting Veronica much authority, he still trusted Carn way more.
anwhile, when the Cyclone Guild na was dropped, both Iceheart and Gentle Wind were tactical.
“I still have to return to my guild residence to prepare sothing.” Gentle Wind excused herself.
Iceheart, on the other hand, explained how she needed to speak with her Guild Leader regarding the specific slot and no longer lingered around.
Xu Feng didn’t even get a chance to respond to them when they all left in a hasty manner. It was as if they were afraid of him trying to silence them like so cultivation novel for stumbling across sothing they shouldn’t know about.
‘Am I that scary?’ He questioned himself.
Shaking his head, Xu Feng stopped wondering about it as he shifted his focus to Azalea. Now that he got a clearer look at her, he could confidently say one thing.
A bit superior to Iceheart in terms of appearance, but inferior when it cos to Carn. As for her skills, Xu Feng tried his best to recall the na, Azalea but nothing ca to his mind.

While Xu Feng was silently pondering, Azalea realized she had to say sothing and not delay her presence here.
“Apologies for coming in advance without prior notice again, but the trial has been advanced and I was ordered to bring the two slot holders to the other plane,” Azalea explained and sounded in a hurry.
“The trial has been advanced?” Xu Feng furrowed his brows and wondered what was the cause for its sudden advancent. “What happened and why is the trial suddenly advanced in date?”
Initially, Xu Feng planned on training so more in maps that had yet to be discovered by players to improve his strength. This was why he wanted to end the tour early and begin making his journey there.
Who would have thought that he didn’t even get the opportunity to do so?
“I’m sure Guild Leader Lin Feng had heard of the Colossuses conquering cities. In our plane, the Colossuses’ actions were getting threatening. Thus, many of the participating guilds suggested to advance the trial date and have their mbers improve in strength during the trial.” Azalea explained.
Although the explanation sounded very logical, Xu Feng would be a fool to believe it wholeheartedly. He was certain that this decision was made by soone who didn’t want him to be prepared.
This advanced trial date was orchestrated to catch him off-guard and to make a fool out of himself when he goes to participate.
“So I supposed Floral Witch agreed to it because she couldn’t withstand the pressure, right?” Xu Feng questioned, his tone contained traces of disdain and disappointnt.
Azalea forced a stiff smile upon being questioned. He was indeed on the mark, given that the other guilds were also in a similar ranking as the Cyclone Guild. Moreover, even higher-ups within the Cyclone Guild were in agreent to advance the trial date.
After all, they had delayed the trial for a while and wished to seek the opportunity for major improvent.
With the Divine World constantly undergoing transformation on a daily basis, to not improve was equivalent to being behind others.
To maintain and ensure their position was intact, they needed to strive for improvent.
“The Colossuses had also wreaked havoc in our plane, and so skirmishes had already begun. Our players were severely lacking when confronting them, so we needed to upgrade our skills, equipnt, and level fast.” Azalea explained their circumstances.
Given their plane was far larger than the plane that Xu Feng operated on, there were more casualties on their side.
“I see…” Xu Feng nodded his head and glanced at Carn. “Do you still want to partake in the trial or not?”
Carn pondered for a mont and gazed at Veronica. Having duo with Xu Feng in the dungeon, she was not sure if she should take the trial chance as well.
Hence, she wanted to see if Veronica was willing to participate.
To her surprise though, Veronica seed to understand her intent and shook her head.
“The Guild Leader has just given
many duties. Moreover, the town’s opening is going to require a lot of work. I won’t be able to split my attention unless you’re willing to take on the administrative role.” Veronica said with an exhausted tone.
“Hmm, then good luck continuing the work,” Carn exclaid and readily agreed to partake in the trial as well. She had no hesitation in abandoning Veronica.
Administrative role?
Sorry, but Carn would rather fight than be consud in administrative tasks.
“Alright, Miss Azalea. The two of us will join you on the other plane.” With that decided, Xu Feng turned to Azalea and confird the matter.
“Very well, this is the portal stone, and allows you to access our plane.” Azalea retrieved two sparkling stones.
As soon as the sparkling stones made their appearance, Xu Feng finally beca enlightened. ‘No wonder the Malefic Order Guild was able to co to our plane. They already managed to co into contact with the portal stone at this stage.’
