Chapter 931: Training Hall’s Core Secret
The core secret in the training hall was none other than the procedure set up by Razor and Brutus. It was an NPC’s training session, but nobody complained about it.
After all, their years of experience and combat knowledge were not one to be trifled with. Moreover, to have an NPC train you personally wasn’t sothing you could just do with money.
One needed ample reputation, as well as enough trust for the NPC to be even willing.
Xu Feng was just lucky enough to encounter them when they were down on their journey and he gave them a lending hand.
“Before we enter the core secret, I’ll need the two of you to sign a confidential contract.” Xu Feng retrieved two sets of contracts for Gentle Wind and Iceheart.
The two of them browsed through it a bit and signed without hesitation.
They weren’t offended or anything by the sudden contract. In fact, they were more curious and intrigued by the supposed core secret that made Xu Feng behave in such a manner.
However, they could have never imagined the scene before them.
As they entered a large door, they could hear soone shouting furiously.
“Are you people a bunch of lazy folks who never exercised before? I said that I want the speed to be increased twofold, but what the hell did you just show ?” Razor scolded harshly toward a large group of players who had an ashad expression hanging on their faces.
These groups of players didn’t even dare to voice a single complaint or resentnt. In fact, they were extrely fearful and full of dread of the upcoming punishnt.
Sure enough, their body trembled when Brutus stepped forward and pointed at a few disappointed individuals.
When those individuals were pointed by Brutus, their facial complexion turned pale and they wanted to cry.
“I’m sure I don’t need to brood over what the punishnt will be, right?” Brutus questioned solemnly.
“No, Instructor Brutus!” The individuals who got pointed responded loudly.
“Then what the hell are you waiting for? A goddamn cookie?” Brutus yelled and reprimanded them ruthlessly.
In the blink of an eye, the pointed individuals all rushed toward the equipnt aisle and equipped themselves with so heavyweight as they proceeded to make a set of exercise movents.
Back at the entrance area, Iceheart and Gentle Wind were dumbfounded by the situation. They felt as if they had accidentally entered so military camp and they were undergoing so drill training.
“What am I witnessing?” Iceheart turned to Xu Feng and asked.
“The core secret.” Xu Feng flatly responded. What the two of them saw was just the surface of the training. But if they were to pay close attention, then they would have known Razor and Brutus were honing their mbers’ ntality.
Moreover, they were ensuring their reaction ti and efficiency of their avatar to reach a certain mark. Many players know that the avatar was like an identical copy of their real-life body.
However, they still failed to synchronize with their avatar perfectly.
Think of it as a computer gar who could create a character and move it around with the classic WASD keys. They could control the ga character, but they would never be able to fully imrse themselves in that ga character.
That was the limitation of a computer gar.
But with the VRMMORPG genre, that shackle had long been removed. Now, players could physically beco the ga character they chose to create.
In other words, they were capable of imrsing themselves fully and being in sync with their avatar.
Although so had attempted to do so, without the proper thod, it would be difficult for them to succeed.
And this was precisely the core secret that Xu Feng ant. Razor and Brutus were two talented NPCs who could help his mbers beco imrsed and synchronized with their avatar.
Thanks to their training, his mbers were able to outmaneuver and even cast faster spells than the elites of Gentle Wind and Iceheart.
At this mont, Razor and Brutus finally noticed Xu Feng’s presence.
“All of you continue your training. If I see any of you slacked off, then it’s a derit and will affect your ranking placent.” Razor snorted and proceeded to make his way toward Xu Feng.
“Greetings, Boss,” Razor called out.
“Are there new trainees?” Brutus followed closely behind and inquired as he noticed Gentle Wind and Iceheart.
“Not really a trainee.” Xu Feng shook his head. “They are guests from afar, so give them a day of the training.”
Upon hearing that, Razor and Brutus realize the aning behind this.
“So it’s a guest from afar.” Razor nodded and began to inspect the two up and down.
“A Sorcerer and a Berserker. Their progress isn’t bad either.” He comnted.
Brutus nodded in agreent. “They are definitely better than the mbers you sent to us.”
“Well, ain’t that obvious.” Xu Feng mused and chuckled. If his mbers were on par with these two, then they wouldn’t have been his mbers, to begin with. Instead, they would have either joined a higher-rated guild or created their own.
“Oh, right, these two are Razor and Brutus.” He then turned to them and introduced each other. He only ntioned them being guests, but that was about it.
Soon, the four people beca familiar with each other.
“Anyway, these two get a chance to train for one day. They will decide when to use that chance.” Xu Feng explained and dismissed Razor and Brutus.
Razor and Brutus nodded as they resud their training.
They were quite busy, to begin with. However, given it was Xu Feng coming in to check on them, they had no choice but to greet him.
Soti later, Xu Feng brought the two won back to the lobby and was bombarded with nurous questions.
“What kind of training was that?” Iceheart asked.
“They appeared to be exercising, but it can’t be that simple.” Gentle Wind added.
“Haha, you two will know it once you experience it yourself. But for now, let’s just continue the town’s tour.” Xu Feng lightly chuckled. His expression changed when he spotted Fla Bird sulking in the corner whereas Jacob was being blasted by Nash and Garrett.
