The Slaughter Chainsaw groaned in agony, its body staggering backward.
It had received what was supposed to be healing that seeped straight into its body, but was converted to pure damage that threatened to destroy every aspect of its body.
While the Slaughter Chainsaw revealed a look of fear, Xu Feng’s expression remained resolute as he patiently waited for the final phase. Or more commonly known as the Berserk Phase—a final struggle that most bosses do when their health is at an all-ti low.
He didn’t even notice that Carn’s eyes were widened like so goldfish.
She was extrely baffled and struck in a daze at the huge damage that had just been dealt by Xu Feng.
‘Over a million damage? All from skills alone and not from ragged scrolls or other items?’ She swallowed a mouthful of salvia, feeling like she was staring at a different person.
She could hardly believe that the damage dealt in such a caliber was orchestrated by a healer class.
“No wonder he’s the Guild Leader.” She comnted.
anwhile, back in the front, the Slaughter Chainsaw began to emit a red glow aura around it, indicating that it was going through the process of Berserk.
Xu Feng also took the ti to check at its health bar to confirm sothing.

And unlike the previous two phases, the System sent a prompt to the two of them regarding the final phase.

Ripper Storm: Summons 6 phantom chainsaws spinning wildly in random directions for 8 seconds. Each deals 50% AoE damage on contact and inflicts Bleeding (Stackable DOT).
Void Rejection Pulse: In this phase, Slaughter Chainsaw periodically sends out a pulse that pushes back all summoned creatures within 20 ters and silences summoners for 3 seconds—targeting Lunar Wraith’s core strength.
Ultimate Kill Drive: Final move at 5% HP. Charges up for 6 seconds and targets both players. If not interrupted or evaded, unleashes a devastating cross-sweep that can one-shot players under 50% HP. (Unleashed only once.)

Reading the prompt and realizing the tir was increased from the previous remaining 10 minutes, Xu Feng heaved a sigh of relief.
There was a reason why he chose to unleash multiple of his ultimate skills without pause. It was the ti constraint that forced him to use them early to make the boss go berserk.
After all, in return for explosive power, the Slaughter Chainsaw’s defense would also be weakened substantially. This was a common scene to ensure the boss might be overwhelming, but it was certainly killable.
However, what astonished him was one particular skill.
While the Slaughter Chainsaw was still in its sowhat immune state, Xu Feng turned around to look at Carn.
Sure enough, he could see that her expression had darkened, almost as if she was in the mood to commit a massacre.
When Carn spotted Xu Feng’s gaze, she gnashed her teeth and stomped on the ground.

The Slaughter Chainsaw’s Void Rejection Pulse was designed to counter all her kits. To put the cherry in the topping, the system description even specifically stated that it was targeting her.
It was completely undeniable!
“Yeah, it’s probably input to prevent you from using the Void Field.” Xu Feng smiled bitterly, unsure of how to respond.
Although he had dealt a whopping damage of over 1 million at once, the truth remained that the heaviest hitter had been Carn all along.
In that sense, it was only right for Carn to be targeted over him, who had only shown so moves near the end to trigger the final phase.
Carn grumbled and was livid by the situation.
However, she also understood that remaining in such a state wouldn’t do any good.
In the end, she puffed up and went toward Xu Feng. “Since both of us would be targeted once it got desperate from the Ultimate Kill Drive skill, we might as well stick together.”
Nodding in agreent, Xu Feng calmly reminded her that their Ultimate Will would co in handy when that happened.
Upon hearing that, Carn clasped her hands in joy.
But it only remained for a mont as she then frowned. “Damn it… then I’m definitely going to die!”
“How so?”
“The silences!” Carn rolled her eyes and glared at him. “The Slaughter Chainsaw could silence
for 3 seconds, so if the timing was terrible for . I’d be a sitting duck.”

Xu Feng indeed realized that the situation was extrely tricky. There was no way they could stop the summoned creatures from appearing.
After all, there was still the first skill during the berserk mode of the boss: Ripper Storm.
The Ripper Storm’s description might claim that 6 phantom chainsaws would be swinging wildly in random directions, he knew very well the chances of it coming at them were high unless there were more targets available.
“Carn, just summon your voidlings to the outer field and avoid getting them close to the Slaughter Chainsaw.” Xu Feng promptly decided to use his own set of summoned creatures to be the main frontline.
As for the silence effect, he could only hope for the best and ensure he wouldn’t get screwed over.
Carn wanted to argue and claim that the solution wasn’t really a solution.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t get the chance to do so when the Slaughter Chainsaw had completed its transformation. Realizing there was no ti for a debate, she gritted her teeth and adhered to the command.
