??896: Void Field
896: Void Field
When Xu Feng was inford that Carn had been concealing so of her hidden cards, he wasn’t angry or dissatisfied with her.
In fact, he was very pleased and amazed by Carn’s ability to conceal her own set of secrets.
After all, he had his own secrets that he would never reveal to others.
Just the fact that Carn was willing to hide things from him ant that she had ambitions.
Ambitions that would soon soar to the sky.
With their current relationship, it didn’t matter what her ambitions were.
They would still be on the sa side, and Xu Feng would be more than happy to assist her.
“So, do I just sit back and completely relax?” Xu Feng asked amusingly.
Despite saying so, he was going to buff and support her to the best of his ability anyway.
After all, this was an endless monster wave where only by working together could they achieve maximum results.
Carn also understood his hidden implication that she was free to do whatever she wanted as she would have him as her support.
She flashed a cheeky smile and spread her arms.
“If you want to get a free carry, then by all ans take a seat.”
After saying so, her eyes turned cold as she noticed the tallic doors were beginning to open.
Their conversation might be brief and short, but 3 minutes goes by very fast.
In the blink of an eye, nurous growls echoed from all sorts of directions.
It was a good thing that the sound wasn’t enough to affect them thanks to the system’s protection, otherwise, with 200 monsters growling in such a loud manner, their eardrums could have easily been broken.
At the appearance of the monsters and the tir counting down, Xu Feng truly did as Carn said.
He took a seat and watched with an intense gaze at how Carn was going to handle the situation.
He didn’t doubt her ability.
She wasn’t soone to spout nonsense.
‘What other skills was she concealing?’ Xu Feng was looking forward to being surprised.
Carn didn’t understand that Xu Feng had such a side to him nor did she have the ti to care about.
Right now, her eyes were staring at the ferocious monsters with a disdainful expression.
She used her temporary flight skills to hover in the sky.
By being on the top, she could pinpoint the best place to unleash her Void Field.
Void Field, a skill that consud the field for a certain radius, essentially creating a domain that was under her control.

As soon as the Void Field was summoned, Xu Feng instantly felt the effect.
Simultaneously, Carn also sent the relevant skill description for him to check.
Whether it was to posture or inform him, Xu Feng was rendered speechless after finishing reading it.
“What a domineering field…” His eyes widened slightly, and he couldn’t help but look at Carn in a new light.
When Carn noticed the sowhat dazed expression from Xu Feng, she felt proud of herself.
Proud that she had finally managed to shock him to the core.
‘Heh, the Guild Leader really didn’t know much about my Voidmancer Class skill.’ She was once again reinforced with the mindset that Xu Feng only knew the basics of her class.
After all, she had pestered Librarian Griselda for a while regarding who else knew about the Voidmancer origins.
In her response, Librarian Griselda had repeatedly emphasized that the class was top tier and impossible to surpass.
Carn naturally believed in the forr but doubted the latter.
She didn’t believe there were things that were impossible to surpass.
Not even her Guild Leader had dared to put on air and claim his Vanguard Guild was number 1.
In fact, Xu Feng had also treaded very carefully and only made extre decisions when left with no other choices.
As the monsters finished being spawned, Carn’s eyes narrowed as she summoned her voidlings into the Void Field.
Unlike the first wave, Carn made sure to use the voidlings’ taunting skills to bait the monsters into rushing into her Void Field.
Sure enough, the monsters roared and growled in fury upon being taunted by the voidlings.
The voidlings all had different forms and sizes, but one noticeable thing was that they were mostly colored purple and dark blue.
As one of their colors glowed and shone brightly, it had so form of fatal attraction, prompting the monsters to be attracted to them.
It was a unique taunting skill, and Xu Feng was nearly affected by the skill as well.
‘Even though we’re allies, I was still affected.
Just how much did she level up this particular taunt skill?’ Xu Feng wondered silently.
Given the level difference between her and him, it was natural for him to be affected.
However, that was under the basis he was a regular player as well.
He was soone who had been baptized and resistance to taunt was relatively high despite his level.
Thus, to affect him still, it goes to show how terrifying Carn would be if the taunt were to be used against other players.
Upon thinking about that, even Xu Feng felt a cold chill running down his spine.
‘I shall offer my condolences to our future enemies or those who offended her.’
