Ti quickly went by, and the VIP room table was soon filled with many delicacies.

Despite this, only Zhao Kai had his hands oily for being the sole person eating the food on the table.

Zhao Xin was busy absorbing the shocking information that she received from Xu Feng.

"The town is actually constructed at Twilight Glades?" Her brows furrowed, and her hands trembled slightly.

Based on Zhao Kai's earlier information, she was already sowhat prepared that the location was very good.

However, she didn't anticipate it to be not only just very good.

Instead, it was fantastic, especially the strategic terrain placent. Not only was the town covered in mountains from the back, but it was also safeguarded by many natural barriers.

Natural barriers such as the environnt and monsters roaming in the wilderness.

It would be extrely hard to even lay a siege against the town in an attempt to conquer it from fellow players.

"H-How did you even manage to construct a town there?" She stutteringly asked.

To construct a town, one needed to earn enough reputation to even be considered eligible.

Secondly, money had to be deposited in one go, aning one couldn't pay by installnt.

Lastly, one needed a Town Certificate to even have permission to construct one.

The last part was the most difficult part, given that the Town Certificate was deed nearly impossible to drop by bosses in Hell Mode Difficulty Dungeon.

Yet that wasn't even the main point of her question. It was the fact that Xu Feng was able to construct their town on a high-level Neutral Map such as Twilight Glades.

What kind of Town Certificate did they obtain to be eligible to even have their designated town located there?

"I'll be honest with you." Suddenly, Xu Feng put on a stern and solemn expression on his face.

Instantly, Zhao Xin's body tensed up, clearly nervous about the answer.

"Are you ntally prepared for the answer?" He asked for confirmation that she was ready.

Realizing the seriousness, Zhao Xin took a deep breath and exhaled. Her eyes turned crystal clear as she nodded her head. "I'm ready for it."

"Good, then here's the truth."

Zhao Xin held her breath at this mont.

'What kind of devastating secret could it be?' She wondered silently while waiting for Xu Feng to continue.

Besides Zhao Xin, even Zhao Kai temporarily paused his eating to perk his ears up. After all, he didn't expect Xu Feng to be that generous to reveal such a secret.

As all eyes were placed on him, Xu Feng adjusted his glasses.

"We can construct a town there due to one thing." He calmly said before pausing for a dramatic effect.

He clasped his hands together, his glasses reflection causing a sharp glint as he revealed, "It's naturally due to a skill issue."

After saying that, Xu Feng ultimately burst into laughter, his hands quickly clutching onto his stomach to succeed in his swindling.

Zhao Xin and Zhao Kai's faces instantly twitched in disbelief. Zhao Kai was still fine and rely clicked his tongue to resu eating his seafood dishes.

However, Zhao Xin was on the verge of strangling Xu Feng alive for making a fool out of her.

"Do you seriously think I wouldn't go after you, Feng?" Zhao Xin clenched her fist and gnashed her teeth. One could easily tell she was fuming and had no intention of concealing her emotion or expression.

"I'm sure you will," Xu Feng shrugged but continued, "Though I don't think you will if I said I'll give your guild early access."

"Early access?"

"Yes, early access to information regarding the Twilight Glades and a suitable place to train your secret guild."

Sure enough, Zhao Xin's fuming expression vanished imdiately. It was quickly replaced with a friendly smile hanging on her face.

"Let

see the early information." She then said sweetly.

"See this, Kai. That's how two-faced your sister is." Xu Feng suddenly turned to Zhao Kai and explained.

Unaware of the conversation due to stuffing his mouth with food, Zhao Kai nodded unconsciously, earning the ire of Zhao Xin.

She grabbed a tablecloth and flung it toward his face.

PLAP!

The tablecloth landed perfectly on Zhao Kai's face, whose hands paused mid-air, clearly dumbfounded by the aggression.

"What did I do wrong?" Zhao Kai twitched his brows and wondered aloud.

"Alright, that's enough of the teasing." Xu Feng lightly chuckled and proceeded to send a compiled list to Zhao Xin.

As soon as Zhao Xin received the list, she quickly checked on the content. She was satisfied by it, but then suspicion soon arose from within her. She found it hard to believe that he would just give her such free information for no apparent reason.

The so-called teasing didn't even warrant enough for such an apology.

She narrowed her eyes and stared at Xu Feng intensely. "Speak, what's your intention?"

"Haha, I really can't hide much from you." Xu Feng raised his hands in surrender and then patted Zhao Kai lightly on the back.

"I was invited to be a fighter for the upcoming City Competition, but honestly, I don't have the ti or energy for that. Instead, I suggest letting Kai compete on my behalf. He already agreed, so it's just waiting for your approval now."

"What?!" Both Zhao Kai and Zhao Xin beca alard by the sudden news.

"Why are you surprised?" Zhao Xin quickly darted her eyes at Zhao Kai, who held a look of confusion.

"Cause I didn't even know." Zhao Kai responded with an innocent appearance. "I was swamped with the tasks that you gave

at work, so where can I find the ti to participate in that competition?"

"Then why did Feng say you agreed with it already?"

"I don't know—"

Zhao Kai wanted to continue but then halted himself. It was at this mont he ca to a realization of the trap he had stepped on. The trap that happened a long ti ago—back when they made a bet in the watchtower prior to the Colossus siege.

Not to ntion, that weird interaction he had with Xu Feng on the elevator earlier.

'Shit, I got sold out!' Zhao Kai cursed silently.
