After parting ways with Veronica, Xu Feng finally returned to his city. At the airport, he was picked up by Zhao Kai.
"Feng, you really are making waves." As soon as Xu Feng entered the passenger's seat, he was greeted by Zhao Kai's blabbering.
"The current Divine World is in a ss and Green Life Corp's stock is tanking harder."
Thanks to the purge in the Divine World, those who were affiliated with Green Life Corp had been hit heavily. The losses in their equipnt could be ignored, but the money they lost in such a short span of ti was alarming.
By now, almost every company understood the value of the Divine World.
Thus, to incur such a devastating loss—especially when it wasn't even related to you in the first place, was rage-inducing.
Hence, many affiliated companies with the Green Life Corp had announced their stance that they were no longer a part of them. This stance was even made clearer in the Divine World.
Naturally, they even went to Star Falls City and waited patiently in the Vanguard Guild Residence to give so greeting gifts.
The gifts weren't small either, and Veronica who had already returned to the Divine World gracefully received them all. So in an amicable manner, those who were once labeled as affiliated were removed from the purge list.
As for those who remained stubborn and stood by Green Life Corp—though most didn't have a choice given they lacked the money to pull away from them, were continuously targeted in the wilderness.
Of course, that ant the players within those guilds all left in succession.
The higher-ups couldn't escape, but the regular players definitely could, especially when they didn't sign any contracts.
"Besides that matter, many are trying to investigate where the town is constructed." Zhao Kai continued, feeling exhausted from constantly being bombarded with questions while grinding monsters.
"It's not surprising that many want to investigate the location of the town. The Divine World's revenue is currently on par with the top companies in the whole world." Xu Feng mused and read the report that Zhao Kai gave.
He didn't know if it was a coincidence or not. One of the guilds who wished to cooperate with him was Dark Legion. And it was recomnded by none other than Zhao Kai's eldest sister, Zhao Xin.
'Is she indirectly coming clean that she manages this guild and wishes for a fair discussion?' He wondered silently.
"Did you know about this from the beginning, Kai?" Xu Feng asked softly.
"Ah that," Zhao Kai scratched his head awkwardly.
His mouth twitched slightly, forming a bittersweet smile as he explained, "Yeah, my sister inford
when you went to Lumora City."
anwhile, Xu Feng narrowed his eyes and stared intensely at him.
Sure enough, Zhao Kai exhaled in defeat and retracted his explanation. "I ant she told
about it after the guild's announcent, followed by the system notification."
In other words, it was right around the ti Xu Feng was leaving Lumora City, and not when he was going there.
The ti slot might not seem much, but it had a lot of significant aning behind it.
If Zhao Xin decided to co clean prior to the explosive information dropping, then it ant she was eager to assist them. However, she didn't and chose to co clean only after he revealed a jaw-dropping announcent.
What this ant was that she only decided to assist them once she weighed the pros and cons.
"I don't want you to feel offended, Kai. But you should know how I feel about nepotism, right?" Xu Feng responded.
"I know." Zhao Kai nodded in understanding. "I was rely told to give the report with that information included, and nothing else. I don't plan on persuading or convincing you."
As soone who ca from the lowest class, Xu Feng faced much discrimination, especially those who used nepotism to get ahead without putting any effort.
He despised those people the most, but in the past tiline, he couldn't do anything about it. He could only suck it up and accept his fate and work under them.
However, with this new opportunity, Xu Feng refused to let these nepotism practices affect him. He had already been extrely lenient so far to give so benefit to Zhao Xin on behalf of Zhao Kai as repaynt and gratitude.
"If your sister wants so head start in the town, then you can tell her to draft a proposal to convince ." Xu Feng exhaled softly and said.
"Hahaha, I knew that was the case." Suddenly, Zhao Kai laughed and instructed, "Please turn to page 25 and read from there."
'Page 25?' Confused, Xu Feng flipped the pages, only to be rendered speechless. On Page 25, there was a large title in bold.

huh." He raised an eyebrow and questioned skeptically.
"I didn't team up with her." Zhao Kai straightened his back and defended himself. "My sister simply knows about you best and believes you rather look at statistics."
Unfortunately, his words were not so convincing and Xu Feng already began cracking his knuckles.
"Your face is feeling itchy lately, Kai?" Xu Feng asked gently.
"B-Brother… I'm on the wheels. It would be bad if the car goes awry, right?"

Auto Driving Mode Activated!
"What will go awry?" Xu Feng smiled brightly whilst his fingers were pressed on the auto-driving feature.
"Uhhh…" Speechless, Zhao Kai forgot about how advanced technology was in their world. Although there was auto-driving mode, he still felt like holding the steering wheels because it looked cooler.
"Please, not on the face, brother. My sister promised that if I can get you to agree, she would free
from the pile of paperwork."
Without any choice left, Zhao Kai could only confess honestly and explain how he made a deal with Zhao Xin behind his back.
"Ahh, I can't believe you were that selfish." Xu Feng rolled his eyes and decided to look at the proposal. It was very well-made and concise.
