Chapter 801: Imprisoned
Shortly after Night Coin made his exit, Dango Tiger also gave an excuse.
"Honorary Elder, my mbers also suffered so casualties." Dango Tiger smiled awkwardly.
"I'll need to gather them and check on them." He added and left without even waiting for a reply.
Both Herald Fist and Gentle Wind gazed at each other for a mont in disbelief.
Without a doubt, they already understood Dango Tiger wasn't gathering them to check on the casualties and damages. Instead, he was gathering them for a manhunt of delicious prey.
"Are you not going to gather your people around?" Gentle Wind asked softly.
"Forget it, I'd rather use this ti to earn more rewards by restoring the city." Herald Fist shook his head and said.
Indeed, he was always competitive, but he wasn't ignorant. The competition to reach the highest contributor was impossible. Rather than waste his ti chasing an impossible goal, he might as well focus on practical goals.
"Seems like you're not going to go after the Legendary Item either." He then said, having noticed her casualness.
"The system ntioned a possible chance, and not a guaranteed one." Gentle Wind shrugged. "I don't have ti to spend on them, but if I do co across them by chance. I wouldn't mind giving them a quick and easy death."
Nodding, Herald Fist agreed with her. They then bid their farewell to Xu Feng as they had a lot of things to deal with. The siege might have been over, but the aftermath work was equally more exhausting and draining.
In the blink of an eye, only Xu Feng and Carn remained to oversee the current two lifeless players.
Jackson and KaleSalad's expressions had been turned ashen white since the system notification prompt.
Clearly, they had never anticipated that the permanent death could be so devastating.
This was especially true for KaleSalad. All his so-called backup plans and path of retreat were effectively cut off.
His eyes were dead when he glanced at the title that was stuck to him like a sore eye: Traitor of humanity.
So long as the title remained, he would be an outcast to all players. No one would wish to affiliate themselves with anyone holding such a title.
Although the system didn't specify the consequences for harboring a player with that title, it didn't take a genius to know that they would beco affiliated by connection.
"Honorary Elder, do you think he's DCed in the Divine World as well?" Carn suddenly teased and questioned. The two Vegan Life mbers appeared to be disconnected and unable to respond to anything.
"I bet he wished that was the case instead." Xu Feng responded. "I've told them to choose earlier and they had to dare . Now they rely reap what they sowed."
Nodding, Carn agreed that these two tried to test Xu Feng and ended up suffering miserably.
"Anyway, are we going to choose the capture option on them?" She clasped her hands and asked. There were two options available when dealing with the Traitor of Humanity.
One was killing and the other was capturing. The difference between the two was that the latter enabled them to increase their imprisonnt by another week.
Keep in mind that the ti was calculated in real-world ti, and not the Divine World ti.
"Why just capture when we can just kill them repeatedly?" Xu Feng chuckled.
"They're just going to log out and respawn elsewhere though." Confused, Carn was not able to understand his logic.
'He couldn't possibly be still consud with rage, right?' She wondered silently. It was typical for a rageful person to not think logically or behave normally. In fact, it was more common to see people consud in rage to do stuff that they would end up regretting once they regained their clarity.
"Did you forget my status?" Unaware of Carn's thoughts about him, Xu Feng snapped his fingers.
Soon, Albert appeared from out of nowhere, almost as if he had been waiting for Xu Feng's signal.
"Is there anything you need
for?" Albert asked respectfully.
"Yes, these two are Traitors of Humanity, so please detain them in the city's prison. Also, do let
interrogate them for a while." Xu Feng said, his fingers pointing at Jackson and KaleSalad.
Albert took a pause and turned his attention to the two people. Sure enough, they instantly detected their new status and realized the situation.
"Very well, but it'll only be for a while," Albert said with much difficulty.
After all, his eyes subtly noticed Carn on the side. Had it not been for her sacrifice, then he and his people would have either been killed or injured severely.
Nodding, Xu Feng was grateful for the permission. Though he was positive that it was permitted thanks to the rapport status between Albert and Carn.
"Besides these two, the other remaining people are also involved in the situation." Xu Feng then ratted out the others who actually belonged to the Malefic Order Guild. This included the person in command, CarnageBound.
However, they couldn't be affiliated with the Malefic Order Guild, given they had joined Vegan Life in disguise. The system also only recognized them as mbers of Vegan Life.
As for CarnageBound, he didn't join Vegan Life and disguised himself as just a regular player among the many.
Therefore, he really lucked out in not receiving the title and being labeled as prey, but that didn't stop Xu Feng from imprisoning the latter for a week.
With his credentials and Baron status, Albert would gladly comply with such a small request to imprison CarnageBound.
Soti later, they were all transported to the city's prison.
"Ah right, Baron, the City Magistrate was grateful about your contribution to the siege, as well as Lady Lunar Wraith's selfless sacrifice. He wished to reward you later on and grant Lady Lunar Wraith a noble status in the city." Albert relayed the news that he received from his subordinates previously.
"It's only right for
to assist Dawnshire City and repel the Colossus." Xu Feng placed his hand on his chest and said righteously.
"Mhmm, it's just that I'm immortal so it can't be considered selfless sacrifice." Carn chid in and downplayed her action.
