Chapter 779: Drastic Turn
By now, in his current plane, almost everyone knew that they needed to turn off the option to be revived by the enemy.
After all, the Vanguard Guild's healers were known to be perverted and cruel.
If an opponent forgot to turn off that option, they would be revived repeatedly, stripped of their entire items, and their levels could even go back down to 0.
And the first person to ever receive such a treatnt was none other than Hundred Ghost and his lackeys.
Naturally, this kind of news only circulated around their plane, whereas the other plane remained clueless. Therefore, Zyron and the rest didn't expect to be revived again and get killed.
Of course, Xu Feng wasn't confident in killing them imdiately upon reviving them.
He patiently waited for Zhao Kai to finish killing off the Colossus.
"Damn it, no loot." Zhao Kai suddenly cursed aloud. "I've worked so hard to kill this bastard and it didn't even bother to drop
anything. What kind of crap system design is this?"
"Don't bla the system. Bla your luck." Xu Feng shouted from afar and told him to get over here quickly.
Soti later, a dirtied-looking Zhao Kai arrived and glared at Xu Feng with an unfriendly expression.
"Stop speaking as if your luck were any decent." He hissed coldly.
"Well, my luck in monster drops has always been terrible, but not for players." Xu Feng shrugged in response. He then explained the situation and where these enemies belonged to.
After learning where the enemies ca from and their reason, Zhao Kai cursed and spat so of his saliva out.
"Damn it. No wonder these people dared to attack ." He twitched his mouth and wanted to thrash the person behind them or the guild.
However, he knew it would be a waste of money and manpower.
To travel to another plane required a deposit of 20 gold coins. This didn't even include more teleportation and ti to identify the new map.
Different planes ant different maps and locations. To adapt to so many new things requires a lot of effort and ti.
"But still. Their cleverness and overconfidence is what makes it wonderful for us." Zhao Kai suddenly sneered and crossed his arms. "To think they don't even bother to investigate our motto properly and co here with such an amateur mistake."
Silent, Xu Feng was in deep thought. Since he discovered sothing was amiss, he doubted they would be easily killed and had nothing in preparation.
'Even if they didn't investigate our motto, the style to kill back to zero is universal. There's no way they're this arrogant, right?' He knitted his brows and ca to realize that he was rather complacent.

"Let's revive them already. My cooldown is gone and I can thrash them again." Amidst his suspicion, Zhao Kai's sudden suggestion enlightened him.
"Not good!" Xu Feng clenched his fist and quickly grabbed Zhao Kai. In the next instance, he activated his Phantom Step and fled the scene.
"What's the matter?" Confused, Zhao Kai felt dizzy from being dragged all of a sudden.
"It wasn't a mistake that they didn't stop the enemies from being able to revive them, but a planned one." Xu Feng released him and explained.
"They wanted us to revive them, and I'm sure they got an item that could reflect upon us." He continued and hastened his pace. His assumption previously was incorrect.
anwhile, Zhao Kai quickly understood how shrewd their enemies were. However, he still didn't understand why they were fleeing.
"Could it be that there are more enemies from a different plane?" Zhao Kai tried his best to catch up to Xu Feng and inquired.
"Not a different plane." Xu Feng corrected. He tried to contact Carn, but till now, she had yet to respond to him. It was the sa thing for Gentle Wind and Herald Fist.
Although most of the danger had been resolved, it still didn't make sense for the atmosphere to turn so quiet. Unless they were cut off from the communication signal and unable to inform him of the current events.
Sure enough, after rushing ahead for a while, Xu Feng noticed a transparent barrier in front of him. The transparent barrier seed to shroud a large acre of land, and it was precisely covering the important defense area.
He tried to enter the barrier but was blocked off. What occurred next was an indication of the barrier health bar.
"Holy crap! When did they create a barrier on this scale?" Alard, Zhao Kai, who arrived late, widened his eyes. He attempted to strike at the barrier, but the health bar didn't even seem to flinch a bit.
The damage was absorbed and there was no fluctuation whatsoever.
"Tsk, let
teleport to the city then." Zhao Kai clicked his tongue, retrieved a Return Scroll, and attempted to teleport to the city.
The Return Scroll failed to activate and a system prompt appeared.
System: Due to interferences of the transmission, the Return Scroll could not be used for the mont!
"Interference with the transmission?" Startled, Zhao Kai was truly taken aback. For players to be blocked from using a Return Scroll or Teleport Scroll wasn't unheard of. After all, a large number of traffic within the Teleport Platform would result in such circumstances, but that kind of incident was done by the System.
But this particular incident was clearly player-made.
"Ugh, what kind of crap developnt is this?" Frustrated, Zhao Kai stomped the ground and roared. "Why are we always encountering so bullshit after we resolved one issue?"
While he vented loudly, Zhao Kai was confused as to why Xu Feng remained quiet.
"Hey, are you really going to—" Before Zhao Kai could finish his sentence, he noticed Xu Feng's deanor had changed completely.
"Kai, gather all mbers of the guild here. I'm going to start a massacre." Xu Feng expressed an intense killing intent. After all, he had just received a notification that one of his party mbers had died.
