Chapter 724: Floral Witch
After Floral Witch gave a brief introduction of herself, Xu Feng didn't find any harm in revealing his fake identity.
"I'm Cool Wind of Vanguard Guild. May I know how you have heard of us?" He questioned softly. Based on his recollection, Cyclone Guild operated in a different plane.
The Divine World was massive, so there were different planes that required crossover to get over from plane A to plane B.
Essentially, it ant that there wouldn't be a conflict of interest between Vanguard Guild and Cyclone Guild. After all, they were both playing in a different plane and would hardly have any clashes.
And precisely so, the fact that Floral Witch had heard of his Vanguard Guild was quite surprising.
"How could I not have heard of your guild?" Floral Witch responded with a baffled tone.
"Your guild manages to survive after clashing with Lethal Corp and two first-rate guilds as an upstart guild. Such achievent was unheard of." She added, highlighting their fa.
"Hmm, aren't you going to think it was just so fake rumors?" Amused, Xu Feng hadn't expected soone to finally have their eyes wide open to realize his guild's significance.
Indeed, those achievents were the truth, but because of how impossible it sounded. Most tend to refuse to accept reality and call it a false rumor that was being spread around.
As for the live stream, they couldn't even get to see it due to their stubbornness and Xu Feng's thod of forcing them to pay to watch.
They couldn't even watch the previous stream unless Xu Feng had OneMandia put up an edited video version for upload.
"Surely, you must be jesting." Floral Witch cleared her throat and stared at him. "If those are just rumors, then I wouldn't have received news that the Lethal Corp is trying their best to suppress your guild."
"Suppressing us?"
"Mhmm, they've been collaborating with Miracle Pavilion to hinder your business."
Astonished, Xu Feng had a suspicion previously, but never did he think Miracle Pavilion would actually collaborate with another to suppress others. They were an intel-type of affiliation and usually remained neutral.
"Miss Floral Witch, do you have any evidence to back up your claim?" Xu Feng's expression turned solemn. He wasn't going to blindly believe her without seeing any proof.
Only an idiotic brainless person would just go okay, and believe them wholeheartedly despite barely interacting for less than 5 minutes. That too when it was the opposite gender of them.
"You can just call
Floral, and I call you Wind." Floral Witch smiled lightly and continued, "The Auction House has a lobby and a private room for rent. I can rent one there and show you the evidence."
"I'm sure there's no free lunch in this world."
"Hehe, you're right. But this one is free and I just wish to express my sincerity."
Although Xu Feng was still skeptical of Floral Witch, he nodded his head and agreed to converse further in the private room. After all, he was rather curious about her identity and affiliation with Cyclone Guild.
The Cyclone Guild was a Super First-Rate Guild, a league above the Reaver Guild, and slightly beneath that of Lethal Corp.
He had investigated them beforehand in the past tiline, but not once had he heard of the na, Floral Witch. There were only three possibilities for the situation.
1. She was well hidden from the public.
2. She had her na changed later on or gave a fake one to him.
3. She was eliminated from the run and thus beca another forgotten player.
Either way, Xu Feng wasn't interested in it much except for the information she had given to him.
Soti later, the duo arrived at the enormous Auction House. From the skyview, they looked no different than an ant when compared to the building.
As they entered the building, an employee of the Auction House approached them.
"Hello, are you a mber of the Auction House?" They asked politely.
Nodding in response, Floral Witch retrieved a platinum card.
Almost imdiately, the employee's expression turned more respectful.
"Welco, dear custor. How may I be of assistance to you?"
"I wish to rent a private room with my companion before the auction event." Floral Witch responded.
"Very well, please follow ."
A few minutes later, they were guided and arrived at a spacious private room.
"If you need any food, feel free to use the button over there to order and it will arrive shortly." The employee gave so brief explanations before excusing themself from the area.
anwhile, Xu Feng found a comfortable chair to sit on. His action instantly caught the attention of Floral Witch.
'As expected of soone from the Vanguard Guild.' She thought to herself. By taking out the platinum card and renting a private room, she attempted to flex her wealth. Unfortunately, her attempt ended in failure when she noticed Xu Feng held a completely nonchalant expression.
There wasn't even a tinge of surprise or astonishnt coming from him.
'The platinum card costs 50 gold coins to purchase and must be renewed weekly. The private room renting costs 30 silver coins per hour, and the food is also priced in silver coins.' When Floral Witch thought about the cost combined, she silently lanted.
Shortly after taking her seat, Floral Witch asked, "Are you hungry? If so, you may order whatever you like."
"Are you paying for it all?" Xu Feng inquired.
"Of course, it's an invitation from
after all." Floral Witch widened her smile. 'Heh, let you be impressed by my wealth.'
She was feeling smug until she noticed Xu Feng suddenly ordered every item on the nu. Her brows twitched and her mouth left agape.
"A-Are you sure you can eat them all?" She clenched her fist and asked in a suppressed tone, trying her best to keep calm. If Xu Feng could truly eat them all, then so be it. But if he couldn't and just wanted to ruin her pocket, then she would uhhh— she doesn't know what to do.
