When Zhao Kai revealed that everything was all according to his plan, albeit sowhat risky. The truth remained that they managed to gain a private eting with her ahead of everyone else.
As for the woman, she was struck by a mont of dazedness. Never once had she expected soone to comnt on her vulgarly in a way to achieve a private eting.
They predicted that she would definitely want to deal with the matter secretly, which involuntarily allowed this unexpected developnt.
Not to ntion her, even Xu Feng was impressed by Zhao Kai’s actions.
It was really unexpected yet very impressive at the sa ti.
"Are you not afraid that this little trick of yours would only displease ?" The woman raised her question. Her hands clenched into a fist, clearly displaying the rage that was swelling within her.
To be made a fool in her territory was equivalent to being slapped in the face.
"Afraid?" Zhao Kai shrugged.
"I sure am, but I have my friend here who could easily deal with your bodyguards. Besides, will you really kill us just because I made so vulgar comnts in a club? Sorry, but no matter how fancy or luxurious you try to sound, a club is a club at the end of the day." He continued.
The confidence that Zhao Kai displayed was in full throttle. There wasn’t even any sense of anxiety or nervousness that was usually displayed on the surface when he was interacting with either Zhao Xin or Xu Feng.
Infuriated, the woman raised her slender finger and pointed at Zhao Kai. "You—"
However, before she had a chance to continue her statent, Zhao Kai swiftly interrupted her.
"Now, don’t point at
and bring out the real franchise owner." He demanded. "My friend and I have precious ti. We cannot afford to waste it on just a re representative or a fake."
"Oh, you knew?" Amused, Xu Feng looked at him in a new light.
"I knew it when you didn’t stop
from spouting my mouth like before." Zhao Kai rubbed his nose.
And he continued, "Also, would the franchise owner be so prone to expressing her emotion so wildly? This woman only had the appearance, but her deanor and behavior were totally lacking. Her bodyguards around didn’t even react when I kept jabbing at her. She’s clearly a fill-in or a substitute."
Clap! Clap! Clap!
"They say Zhao Gaofu acknowledged an illegitimate grandson all of a sudden, but it seems like I finally understand." From behind a chanism, a door opened up, followed by an angelic voice.
Instantaneously, the woman who was previously seated in the chair stood up and greeted, "Miss Janet."
"You did well, Wendy," Janet responded and waved her hand. She exuded a majestic and seemingly otherworldly aura.
Her presence was simply breathtaking, and the bodyguards seed to have bowed in response. The reverence they held was another level when compared to their attitude toward Wendy.
As for Wendy, she swiftly equipped the badge and helped place it on Janet’s clothes.
Once that was done, she stepped behind whereas Janet took the seat.
"So, Mister Zhao Kai, may I ask what was your intention of provoking my assistant to orchestrate a private eting like this?" Janet crossed her legs and asked in amusent.
"Uhh…" Seeing her legs crossed and her majestic presence, Zhao Kai was rendered speechless for real. Compared to Janet and Wendy, the two were totally different in their aura and presence.
Wendy was a pretender, so it naturally didn’t attract Zhao Kai. However, Janet wasn’t pretending anything. It was as if such a presence was her passive skill.
With Zhao Kai now faltering at the sudden ergence of a big boss, Xu Feng knew it was ti for him to step in. As much as he wanted Zhao Kai to take the lilight, it was still a bit too much to have him deal with the actual franchise owner.
"My friend’s thod was unorthodox, but I’m sure you have seen many formal requests for a eting by now, Miss Janet." Xu Feng took over and explained.

"Rather than going through the boring ordeal, wasn’t it better like this?"
Nodding in agreent, Janet was indeed tired of the sa old scenario replaying. Greeting politely, followed by introduction, and then more boring but useless talks, before it finally cos to the main discussion.
"You’re right, Mister…" Janet was about to address him but realized she didn’t have any clue of his identity. The guards who wanted to search for data to inform her, also realized they didn’t receive any.
One of them whispered to her ears, garnering her to widen her eyes slightly.
As she turned her attention to Xu Feng, seemingly curious about his identity, he smiled in response.
"I’m Xu Feng, but you can address
as Feng casually." He said.
"Feng huh. Then you can just call Janet and take out the Miss." Janet responded. "So may I ask what was your objective today?"
"Sure." Xu Feng then proceeded to explain that he wished to establish a sponsoring event with the High Table Club.
In general terms, the High Table Club would provide so rchandise that they would help advertise. In return, they would receive money and connections to a broader area using their network.
While the explanation was very brief and concise, Janet’s interest seed to have dwindled hard.
’thod used was a bit different, but the objective is still the sa old.’ Janet thought to herself, feeling quite bored that each and everyone who wished to et with her wanted the coveted sponsor.
After all, the so-called sponsoring wasn’t any ordinary sponsor such as campaign advertisent or investnt. Rather, it was an unconditional sponsoring where they would only throw money in without expecting much in return.
To summarize, it was the equivalent of receiving an abundance of support at the cost of nothing. The only thing the High Table Club would receive was just gratitude, and these gratitude were worth more than just so petty money.
