What the Miracle Pavilion said wasn't false, but it still displeased Xu Feng sowhat.
Of all the guilds it had listed being questioned, they didn't bother to clarify anything except for his Vanguard Guild.
They even went as far as saying their advantage was no longer significant and that their strength ca from NPCs. Such clarification was essentially declaring that the Vanguard Guild was on their last breath, trying to survive in this everchanging developnt of the Divine World.
'I wondered if they posted this because of the monster wave.' Xu Feng wondered silently, feeling like so strings were being pulled behind the scenes.
With the appearance of the monster wave, and subtle exposure of their overall guild's strength to be superficial. The Miracle Pavilion was essentially enticing others to take the opportunity and act against them.
Despite his broad tolerance, Xu Feng was quite dissatisfied with why the Miracle Pavilion was pulling such a stunt. Not once had he done anything to them yet they went ahead and tried to provoke him.
Did everyone seriously think his Vanguard Guild was that easy to trample?
Did the previous lessons that were displayed not have enough examples for them to learn anything?
When Xu Feng thought of those two questions, he found it hilarious, given that he received an answer already.
Yes, these people clearly didn't learn any lessons and still believed his guild was easy to be trampled on. They rely didn't do so yet because they didn't want to waste their ti trampling an ant. Find more chapters on My Virtual Library Empire
'Since you all want a piece of my city and guild, then I'll gladly welco you.' Xu Feng sneered inwardly, opening his direct ssages and searching for Carn's in-ga na, Lunar Wraith.
Lin Feng: I've just returned from my task and I know what's going on. Let the event fester.
After sending the ssage, Xu Feng continued to listen in on the conversation happening in the tavern.
And he had to admit, sotis, the tavern was the best place to learn more information than necessary as opposed to the ga forum.
"MIST is recruiting players with 50 dollars per hour if we join right now and help them plan for the siege against Star Falls City."
"Heh, you shouldn't join just yet. I'm sure that the hourly wage would increase further if we wait. It's always like that whenever a guild wants to siege against another."
"Hoh, you're right. We should also check for the other guilds' recruiting prices. I'm sure there are many other guilds who want to devour the juicy at into their mouths."
As these players began to blatantly talk about how Star Falls City would be divided, almost as if it was completely helpless and defenseless, Xu Feng beca amused.
No wonder why humanity always ends up looking stupid when it cos to history.
All the bad decisions that led to the end of an era usually involved people like them. People who clearly couldn't think or behave cleverly like their ancestors had.
Soti later, Xu Feng received a reply from Carn when he was enjoying his al.
Lunar Wraith: Do I inform the others about not doing anything then? Also, should I give it a push to make it more grim?
Amused by her response, Xu Feng didn't anticipate such a reply. Usually, the normal response would be asking and questioning his decision.
However, Carn did none of that and rely asked if she should follow through with it even more fiercely.
'It's good to not have people constantly doubting your judgnt.' He smiled and calmly typed out a ssage in response.
Lin Feng: No need to inform others, but you're free to make it worse. It's ti to have a thorough cleanse of who's really loyal to our guild.
Lunar Wraith: So you won't be mad if the guild mbers count dwindled to only two digits or possibly one, right?
Lin Feng: Go ahead!
Lunar Wraith: Alright, you better not regret it afterward. This ssage has been screenshot and shall be used for my defense if you ever try to bla it on ~
Shortly after her ssage, Xu Feng stretched his arms and resud eating.
The food in the tavern wasn't the best of the best, but when compared to the canned food, it was definitely the greatest gourt al ever.
It was also about ti that he took his ti more relaxing. Constantly working in an overclocked manner would only exhaust himself in the end.
Since he wanted to see who else wanted to ddle in this muddy water, he was now on the waiting stance.
Soti later, Xu Feng paid for the bill of his food and started to investigate the surroundings. He wanted to see what gave MIST the courage to still continue their advance despite suffering a setback.
And sure enough, the result didn't disappoint him one bit. Apparently, MIST had just been taken over by another young heir, who wanted nothing more than to dominate the Divine World.
'Another silver spoon spoiled brat.' Xu Feng smirked coldly, finding this new young heir to be ridiculous. It was a youngster called Tyler and he seed eager to flex its fang and claws.
Xu Feng had no recollection of this individual, which proved that he was too insignificant to be rembered at all.
Without even realizing how foolish his action was, Tyler was practically being used as a pawn and a spearhead for others to test the Vanguard Guild. Miracle Pavilion definitely didn't clarify its list out of goodwill, but rather a provocation and enticent to bait soone dumb like Tyler to make a move.
At the end of the day, not many people still got a clear idea of his guild. And what better thod was there to gather information than to cause chaos and conflicts in his guild?
'Miracle Pavilion… you overstepped your line this ti.' Xu Feng's eyes narrowed as he decided to return this favor sooner or later. He headed toward the Teleport Platform, planning on returning to Star Falls City to utilize the Town Certificate.
As for the upcoming monster waves?
Only retards believe it was a major crisis.
