As Xu Feng made a response, Aera’s expression turned frighteningly dangerous as she exuded a powerful aura.
"What did you say, Trainee Michael?" Aera asked, her eyes narrowing.
Without a doubt, if she received the wrong answer, then she would gladly let the latter understand what she was capable of doing.
Contrary to her expectations, Xu Feng smirked, returned to his dorm, and closed the door behind him.
Stupefied by his action, Aera’s eyes twitched, almost as if she failed to comprehend the situation.
"Did he just close the door in front of ?" She muttered, finding it laughable.
Shortly after, she continued to bang on the door and shouted, "Open up the door, Trainee Michael. How dare you disrespect your superior. I will have you expelled from Battleship Lux if you don’t open the door in another 30 seconds."
30 seconds later, the door opened and Xu Feng stared at her with a nonchalant expression.
"Oh, isn’t this the Assistant Coordinator, Miss Aera?" Xu Feng mused and continued, "To what delight did this trainee owe you for your appearance?"
"..."
Speechless, Aera gave him another severe warning and said, "This is your second warning! One for being laid back and second for your insubordination."
Amused, Xu Feng received those two warnings and nodded.
"Very well, then I’ll gladly file a complaint of abuse of authority." Xu Feng smirked.
"First of all, the Cleric work does not need to comply with regular training assigned by the Coordinator Division. Secondly, insubordination against who? Don’t tell
you beca the commander of the battleship, Miss Aera?" He continued, not giving her any face.
Your journey continues with .C??m
Sure enough, Aera’s murderous aura rose trendously as she asked solemnly. "Are you going to take responsibility for your words?"
"Yes, and you are free to attempt to murder
on the spot." Xu Feng nodded, his stance remained firm and steady.
A few seconds later, the murderous aura was dispelled and Aera’s cold expression returned to normal.
"Hmph, not bad for a barely qualified Trainee," Aera smirked and began jotting down so notes on her tablet.
"You aren’t the first to defend yourself, but you certainly are the first to talk back to
in such a manner. And also the first to close a door in front of ." She continued and proceeded to give him a grade.
"For your first day, you get the Grade A. At Battleship Lux, we valued the chain of command highly, and each division has its own set of rules. You’ve passed this ti, but don’t count on it the next ti."
After saying her piece, Aera began leaving for the next dorm.
Surprisingly, she started knocking on the door, and when soone inside answered it, they received the sa treatnt she did earlier to Xu Feng.
However, unlike Xu Feng who had ignored and even denied her, the occupant of this particular dorm beca frightened and started apologizing.
Soti later, the occupant began following Aera while having their head kept low.
Having witnessed that scene, Xu Feng shook his head and was certain that the occupant had failed the test.
While he was browsing through the herbs and was interrupted by Aera Vance, he beca suspicious of sothing.
Why had an Assistant Coordinator shown up at his dorm to fetch him?
This wasn’t so type of cliche scene where the male protagonist was sowhat special and got to snag a lovely woman from the Coordinator Division for a romantic route after so bantering!
Additionally, he found it weird that despite the cold expression and almost detached personality of Aera, there was sothing unnatural in her action. It was as if she was acting and wasn’t being her true self.
After all, he had witnessed soone like her, otherwise known as Iceheart.
That woman was certainly the ice-cold type, but Aera was different.
Hence, he decided to shut the door and investigate the schedules as well as the structure of operation revolving around Battleship Lux.
And to his surprise, he discovered that the dical Division didn’t have any actual set of schedules and were free to do whatever they wanted until they were called for by the Ergency Division or the Commander.
Since Aera was soone from the Coordinator Division, and the way she didn’t specify anything, it beca clear to him that she wasn’t here to fetch him.
Instead, she was here to test him on his knowledge and understanding of the Battleship Lux’s rule.
Of course, it was also possible that she might be coming here for an ergency situation, but her words and actions said it wasn’t possible.
’The Origin Trial is really ntally taxing.’ He sighed inwardly and returned to his dorm. He couldn’t imagine what would have happened if he had followed Aera.
He could have failed the trial or even opened another route of the current scene. Either way, this incident alone ant that he needed to be ready for anything that was to co for him.
As Xu Feng temporarily halted his browsing for herbs or dical-related information, he wanted to study more about Battleship Lux as a whole.
Ti quickly went by, and he soon got so of the basic gist of what Aera ant as Grade and division eighth of the lowest rank.
There were eight divisions at Battleship Lux: Command, Tactical, Coordinator, Reconnaissance, Engineering, Logistics, Ergency, and dical.
Each division had its own set of standards and rules, with the exception of Command, which was the overseer of all operations, chain of command, and mission directives. After all, the Command Division was led by the Commander which was equivalent to the supre leader at Battleship Lux.
Within each division, mbers are ranked from 1 to 9, with 9 being the lowest.
Therefore, when Aera addressed Xu Feng as the eighth division of the lowest rank. She ant that he was of the dical Division Rank 9.
The eighth division was just the numbering of the Division itself and had nothing to do with the ranking or authority.
The grading was even more simple, with A to F, and F being the lowest. Yet for so reason, there was always that S rank above A.
"Good thing they didn’t include SS or SSS grade. Otherwise, I might as well suspect I got the SSS-Rank Cleric Talent baloney crap." Xu Feng laughed sarcastically.
